✔ Safely transport and handle loads
✔ Confirm deliveries via signatures or warehouse scans
✔ Communicate with dispatch as needed
✔ Verify freight matches shipping documents
✔ Perform pre-trip & post-trip inspections
✔ Maintain clean and well-kept equipment
✔ Follow delivery schedules and required rest periods
✔ Maintain accurate logs & certify driving hours
✔ Comply with DOT & FMCSA regulations
✔ Follow all traffic laws and adjust for road conditions
✔ Prioritize safety at all times

Having a TWIC and Hazmat is a plus. Must be able to complete work and can consistently ensure safe and accurate deliveries. Must be detail-oriented, efficient, and have a clean driving record.
Class A Truck Driver Job Duties and Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently handle loadsObtain signatures or warehouse scans to confirm and complete deliveriesCommunicate with dispatch as neededConfirm contents of each shipment load matches the manifest documentPerform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each tripAlways ensure your vehicle is kept cleanNotify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encounteredFollow delivery schedule and rest at appropriate timesMaintain detailed driving and delivery logsCertify LogsTrack and report working hoursAdhere to company rules and regulationsObey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditionsComply with DOT and FMCSA regulationsMake safety a priority at all timesClass A Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications
