The OSP Construction Manager is a vital part of the Wyyerd team. Wyyerd has near-term plans to dramatically accelerate expansion and, in doing so, the construction of new plant. The OSP team is responsible for working with outside contractors to enable the rapid deployment of plant in order to enable this expansion, and the OSP Construction Manager will play a key role in this process.
Responsibilities
Define and manage construction end-to-end project plans through construction and installationEnsure accuracy of plans in the fieldClosely work in the field with City Inspectors, Wyyerd Inspectors and ContractorsInsure all processes and procedures are followed Communicate effectively with residents concerns and provide follow up and feedback Communicate effectively with all teams and individuals, internal and external, involved in the end-to-end processIdentify roadblocks for management and identify/recommend solutions Maintain organized trackers, records and other dataEffectively forecast, track and report out on resultsInsure projects stay on track and meet monthly goals Other duties as required
Experience/Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalentCollege degree and/or equivalent 5 to 7 yrs experience in similar fieldPositive attitude, willingness and eagerness to learn new things, team playerPreviously managed employees Ability to understand the fiber network construction processWorking computer knowledge and Microsoft Office knowledgeUnderstanding and interpreting plant mapsMust have clean driving recordAbility to pass drug testUnderstanding of ISP servicesAbility to work with others on all responsibilities
