Prepare assigned portions of schedules supporting the FAR overhead rate audit and complete related internal controls questionnaire.Keep abreast of relevant accounting developments and incorporate changes into own work processes and procedures.Assist others with implementation of new or updated accounting policies and procedures and assist with development of related training / tools.Prepare and submit periodic bank compliance reporting and maintain supporting schedules.Participate in accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments.Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities for assigned indirect expense accounts.Apply internal policies, GAAP, experience and judgment to make decisions and accomplish goals. The list of duties is not intended to be all inclusive and other duties may be assigned as needed.What You Will Need To Succeed:4+ years of relevant experience in Finance with increasing responsibilities and senior management interaction.Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance required, MBA and/or CPA preferred.Sound working knowledge of GAAP and accounting procedures.Highly detail oriented and organized in work.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to meet assigned deadlines and work flexible hours during times of peak workload.Ability to work independently.Professional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.High level of proficiency in MS Excel.Experience with Tier 1 ERP systems.Pay:This position’s anticipated pay range is provided above; final exempt salary or non-exempt hourly pay will be dependent on experience level as well as considering a % based geographic differential based on where the final candidate will be working.
