    Description:

    The Senior Septic Field Technician acts as a technical expert in the inspection, installation, maintenance, repair of septic systems, wells, and related subsystems. This role also supports the Field Manager in daily operations, team supervision, and employee coordination. The technician serves as an on-site supervisor, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead septic and well system inspections, installations, diagnostics, and repairs.

    Provide technical guidance and support to field crews.

    Assist the Field Manager with scheduling, workflow planning, and operational oversight.

    Supervise job sites to ensure safety protocols, quality standards, and timelines are met.

    Train and mentor junior technicians and laborers.

    Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used.

    Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and internal teams.

     

    Prerequisites:

    Proven experience coordinating and communicating effectively with customers, office personnel, and field crews to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.

    Demonstrated ability to act in a supervisory or management capacity on trade-related projects, with responsibility for team performance, safety compliance, and project timelines.

    Background in construction or skilled trades required; foundational knowledge of residential plumbing, septic systems, and well service is preferred but not mandatory.

    Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, and motivate diverse field teams under varying work conditions.

    Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to professionally handle inquiries, resolve issues, and represent the company with integrity and courtesy on job sites.

    High level of professionalism, punctuality, and accountability in both team leadership and customer-facing roles.

    Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    Willingness to adapt to evolving job responsibilities and contribute to continuous improvement in service delivery and team performance.

    Demonstrated teachability and a growth mindset, with the ability to quickly learn new skills, adjust to changing conditions, and receive feedback constructively.

    Certifications/ Licenses:

    Septic inspector, septic installer and/or well contractor license desired but not required

    Pay: $16-$25 Hr.

     

    Schedule:

    Full-Time: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)

    Opportunities for overtime available weekly based on job schedule.

    Note: Flexibility required during peak periods or special projects.
