Title: Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Primary Care Clinic
About Us: WithYou MD is a primary care clinic that has both strong mental/behavioral health. We are a technology-forward practice, utilizing telemedicine and remote patient monitoring when appropriate. A key treatment of ours is Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for Substance Use Disorders (SUD). Unlike a lot other practices that offer MAT, we incorporate a comprehensive treatment plan that includes intensive therapy for our patients. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) or to join our dynamic team and provide virtual care to our patients. Experience prescribing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct virtual patient visits on telemedicine online platforms.Work with patients and pharmacies to ensure patients receive the prescriptions needed.Provide comprehensive patient care under the supervision of a physician, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic illnesses.Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in continuity of care.Educate and counsel patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and keep abreast of advancements in the medical field.Qualifications:
Current Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and certification in the state of New York.At least one year of experience in primary care. Bonus points if experience with suboxone/MAT prescriptions and providing high-quality care to MAT patients.Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Commitment to ethical practice and patient confidentiality.Benefits:
