    Overview
    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Network Architect/Advisor (L3) to join our team on a 1- year contract in Austin, TX for full-time onsite work starting in June 2026.

    In this position, you will be working as a technology expert in the Routing & Switching, WAN edge and Network Observability space to design, implement, and support (troubleshoot) the customer's Datacenter and Campus Networking deployment.

    What You'll Do:

    You will provide advanced post-sales engineering design, architecture and implementation support for Arista's Open Networking Data Center and Campus networking deployments for our enterprise and commercial customers. These recommendations will balance specific customer needs with proven Arista Validated Designs to meet the specific needs of our clients and designed to optimize their network infrastructure.Review customer network designs for an EVPN, VxLAN, leaf-spine architecture and make recommendations for deployment and operational efficiencyConfigure and troubleshoot BGP/eBGP in customers environmentWorking knowledge of Arista's Cloud Vision Portal (CVP) and Arista Validated Design (AVD) will be very useful for this roleMigrate or interconnect to/from Cisco, Juniper, and other vendors to Arista infrastructureAssist with configuration build-outs including creating network provisioning automation using EOS automation tools, Python and AnsibleYou will assist with proof of concepts (POC) and in-depth testing to validate design scenarioDeliver strategic and advanced technical workshops (automation, CI/CD, CloudVision, AVD).Provide interface to TAC and internal development teams and the customerYou will provide customer advice regarding architectural questions, product prerequisites, product features, etc.Produce business-oriented documentation: success runbooks, solution blueprints. adoption roadmaps, and optimization reports.Translate complex business requirements into Leaf-Spine Network architecturesAssist Pre-Sales Engineers and Account Executives with designing Network solutionsUnderstand the customer's business objectives and technical needs. Ability to communicate across all functions within as well as with customers and partners.Maintain professional relationships with teammates, partners, and customers

    Qualifications

    Network Industry Certification preferred, such as CCIE - RS, Data Center, JNCIE or Arista's - ACE-L5, ACE-L6.10+ years' working experience with architecting Campus and Data Center network solutions. Knowledge of leaf-spine architectures is highly desired.5+ years in pre-sales support; ability to independently gather and translate customer business and technical requirements into network architecture designs to achieve desired outcomes5+ years' experience in professional services project delivery, as either a Network Consulting Engineer or as an Advanced Systems (AS) Engineer preferredDemonstrated experience in professional services project delivery, as either a Network Consulting Engineer or as an Advanced Systems (AS) Engineer preferredExperience with enterprise routing/switching within large data center enterprise customers (Ex. Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, ASR)Expert knowledge in the following areas: Ethernet, VLANs, VxLAN, EVPN, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, eBGP, Multicast, QoS, WAN, Network Observability Expert level knowledge of industry-standard CLIAbility to write white papers a plus Background in Perl, Python, Scripting for creating network automation is desiredExcellent customer service and verbal communication skills
