    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSUMMARY: The Maintenance Production Manager directs, and coordinates scheduled maintenance projects quality control, ensures a high level of service, meets budget standards, assures maximum use of service personnel, equipment and materials, and assists field personnel in carrying out their responsibilities. Reports directly to the Operations Manager, working with an assigned Account Manager.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible to create schedules for Company assigned properties using the established schedule Company template.Responsible to complete schedules (4) weeks prior to function start for each service category; aeration, pruning, fertilization, spring clean-up, fall clean upModify schedules as necessary to meet client needs or requests and update as such on schedulesUpdate all schedules daily for completed servicesResponsible to accurately complete own administrative forms, including daily personal time sheet while in the field and turn into Administrative Staff by 7:00 a.m. the following morning.Provides necessary documentation to ensure extra work is billed in a timely manner using job costing templateTrack site visits using Company created templates on a daily basisVisit and review all Company assigned properties on a weekly basis to a level of 90% or greater. Manage accounts as primary field manager for all Company assigned properties within their territory for:Quality Control Number of client driven work orders
    Property Audits – reviewed and graded by Operations Manager, General Manager or Account Manager.
    Budgeted job costing by client/territory as generated by bid sums and daily tracking in job costing.
    Key Point of Contact – for all B and C clients within their assigned territory. Includes managing all client requests, site visits with client(s), work order requestsResponsible to review sites and report improvements for remedial tree care work to General Manager and all other improvements to Enhancement Manager – using work order system for trackingAt the direction and request of Operations Manager, measures properties for bids requested for landscape maintenanceAcquires all data for all assigned territory clients under Client Management for services performed by Company; sunscald, mulch in beds, annual flowers and tree counts, flower photos and keeping data base currentParticipate in on-call rotating shift as directed by the CompanyUpholds a client retention level in their Company assigned territories to a level of 90% or greater. Responsible to inform Operations Manager and Account Manager of any changes in job expectations and billing requests on assigned properties Follows all company safety directives
    SUBORDINATE MANAGEMENTReview all daily completed paperwork and work orders for all Company assigned employees within their territory and turn into Administrative staff by 7:00 a.m. dailyComplete attendance documents for subordinates daily each morning for vacation requests, tardiness, leaving early and absences and turning into Operations Manager the same dayPerforms work site inspection to ensure work is performed to standards of quality using the Company established Site Visit Reporting system and turning into Operations Manager daily, AFTER requesting work orders for items needed from site audit.Oversees, manages and redirects subordinates to improve job qualityManage all equipment distribution for subordinates in their assigned territory using Company templates and forms, which includes distribution and collection of all tools, equipment, supplies within their assigned territory for their subordinates.Review trucks of all subordinates every Friday to ensure cleanliness, safety, security of Company assigned equipment etc.Coordinates manpower and oversees all subordinated within assigned territory. Assist first line personnel (Crew Leaders) in carrying out their duties and client requests or instructions provided through work orders.Recommends in conjunction with Operations Manager all disciplinary actions for subordinatesAssists in the screening and hiring within assigned area with the approval from the Operations ManagerEvaluates performance of crew leaders and members and reports back to Operations ManagerConsistently responsible for training subordinates with Company expectations, procedures and policiesResponsible for bringing on new employees as needed                                                                                                                                         QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalentLandscape and/or irrigation experience preferredBilingual in Spanish requiredAble to work effectively as a team and assist wherever the greatest needs may beExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work extended hours, including nights and weekendsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniquesRegularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility and our customers’ facilitiesValid driver's license with clean driving recordTravel by automobile required approximately 75% of time

This executive-level role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT), manages claims and insurance, and directs emergency preparedness to foster a culture of safety. 

    Core ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership: Develop and implement the organization's overarching risk management and safety vision. This includes setting annual safety objectives and presenting performance metrics to the board or C-suite.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company adheres to all federal, state, and local laws, specifically OSHA, EPA, and DOT standards.Insurance & Claims Management: Oversee the organization's insurance portfolio (Property, Casualty, Workers' Comp). A Master’s degree or equivalent job experience a plus.Knowledge: Expertise in OSHA, DOT, and industry-specific regulations.Skills: Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and crisis management skills.Experience: Most positions require 10–15 years of progressive safety and risk experience, with at least 5 years in a management capacity.
