    We are looking for a capable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist for our wonderful Individual with developmental disabilities by enhancing their quality of life.

    Responsibilities

    Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressingAssist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercisesPromoting independence in daily activities, such as work, learning, and leisure.Facilitate the individual's inclusion in the community's experiences and activities.Maintaining knowledge of individual's requirements.Complying with the Agency's policies and procedures.Maintaining documentation in compliance with the Agency's proceduresAdditional duties upon request

    Qualifications

    Previous experience in a DSP or similar role.High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalentCPR, and first aid certification.Completion of provided Agency trainingValid drivers license and reliable transportation and valid vehicle insurance as specified by the MDAbility to adhere to all health and safety guidelinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to stand proactively and physically support the individualCapable of using, smart phone capableCompassionate, respectful, ethical, honestMust be able to pass background check and drug screening
