Windermere Pediatrics is a well-established, independently owned pediatric practice seeking an experienced Full-Time Medical Biller to join our team.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who has recent physician office medical billing experience, preferably in pediatrics, and understands the complete revenue cycle from charge entry through payment posting, insurance follow-up, denial management, and account resolution.

Position Details
Full-TimeMonday through FridayOccasional Saturday coverage (1–2 Saturdays per month as needed)Primary Responsibilities
Charge Entry
Accurately enter daily charges from provider documentation.Review documentation for billing accuracy.Verify CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and modifier usage.Submit clean claims electronically in a timely manner.Insurance Follow-Up (Accounts Receivable)
The ideal candidate must be comfortable managing insurance aging and proactively following up on unpaid claims.
Responsibilities include:
Working insurance aging reports daily.Following up with commercial insurance companies regarding unpaid or underpaid claims.Correcting claim issues and resubmitting when appropriate.Reviewing Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).Identifying payment discrepancies.Following claims through to final payment.Maintaining low outstanding accounts receivable.Denials & Appeals
Investigate denied claims.Correct billing errors.Submit corrected claims and appeals.Track recurring denial trends.Work directly with insurance carriers to resolve claim issues.Payment Posting
Post insurance and patient payments accurately.Balance daily deposits.Ensure payments match contracted reimbursement amounts.Identify underpayments and initiate follow-up.Pediatric Billing Experience

This position requires recent physician office medical billing experience.
Applicants whose experience is limited to hospital billing, dental billing, home health, chiropractic, veterinary, pharmacy, or billing school/training without physician office experience will not be considered.

Windermere Pediatrics is seeking an experienced Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our growing team. We are looking for a dependable, compassionate, and energetic individual who enjoys working with children and families.
The ideal candidate has previous pediatric experience, is comfortable administering vaccines, performing clinical duties, and thrives in a fast-paced private practice environment.
Responsibilities
Room patients efficiently and professionallyObtain and document vital signs including:TemperatureHeight & weightHead circumference (infants)Blood pressurePulseRespiratory rateOxygen saturationReview medical history and reason for visitPrepare patients for examinationAssist physicians and nurse practitioners during exams and proceduresPrepare, administer, and accurately document childhood immunizations (per Florida regulations and office policy)Perform point-of-care testing including rapid strep, flu, RSV, COVID, urinalysis, hemoglobin, and other in-office testingAssist with breathing treatments and nebulizer treatmentsCollect laboratory specimens when neededMaintain accurate documentation within PCC EHRClean, disinfect, and restock exam rooms between patientsPrepare instruments and maintain clinical suppliesEducate parents on vaccines, medications, and provider instructionsFollow OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and safety guidelinesWork closely with providers and front office staff to ensure excellent patient careQualifications
Required
