The ED RN Case Manager works in partnership with the Emergency Department and referring physicians to insure the efficient and effective management of patients through emergency services, and or admission to the hospital. Assists the physician and interdisciplinary team to provide the appropriate level of care and services required and effectively communicating that information. The RN Case Management in the ED will work to achieve quality outcomes and cost-effective utilization of resources. Collaborates with the Director on issues, supervises, directs, coaches, and mentors staff while ensuring safe quality service. The Case Management ED RN is an active member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team which facilitates internal and external delivery of healthcare services to the people our community serves.
