Position Overview Warehouse Assistant I
Wilsonart, in Phoenix, currently has an opening for a Warehouse Assistant I. This person will perform warehousing functions to replenish the finished goods inventory with material from the manufacturing facilities. Fills customer orders, inspects material and packs material for shipment as needed in the assigned department/location. Performs other tasks as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Receives all material from the manufacturing facilities and vendors
Checks and places materials in the correct bin
Checks material against the manifest and reports discrepancies
Informs supervisor and photographs all defective materials
Cuts down over-sized laminate to fill pending orders
Reads, interprets, processes, and packs orders
Performs total skid count for loads
Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
Assists the needs of the customer
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to learn computers sufficient to check inventories
Ability to learn materials inventoried
Ability to learn packing techniques
Ability to learn proper material handling techniques
Ability to understand and follow directions
Ability to work independently
Ability to drive a lift truck

This position will promote and sell Arborite and Laminart products and marketing programs to a variety of buying and non-buying decision-makers including OEM manufacturers, design/build firms, architects, designers, and corporate specifiers. Job Description
The Specification Representative is responsible for securing specifications for Wilsonart, primarily within the commercial design community which includes architects, designers, and store planners. The Specification Representative may also be required to secure residential specifications which include home builders and kitchen and bath dealers. Selling activities include extensive product education explaining not only features and benefits of Wilsonart products but how our products can satisfy needs of specifiers on their projects. The ability to build and maintain relationships within the specification community is critical. This role will be responsible for making sure all Wilsonart marketing devices are appropriately placed and updated on a timely basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develops relationships with customers and serves as the primary contact in a territory for the design communityIncrease business volume with all accounts in the territory to include some national accounts.Provides design, product and application information pertinent to individual accounts.Interacts with sales representatives, regional managers, and distribution personnel to maximize results and keep everyone informed.Links designers and planners to industry fabricators where appropriate, with a view to ensuring immutable specifications.Provides feedback to internal customers regarding the surfacing needs of the design community.Participates in industry related associations.Hands on placement, updating, and maintenance of all Wilsonart merchandising in the territoryEffectively use Wilsonart's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool. Effectively educate them on product attributes and differentiators
Help them understand the value, quality, and history of the brand
Understand all sales and marketing programs and materials so you can present them to the customers
Proactively be an expert in industry standards and regulatory codes, competitive landscape always aware of changes happening in the marketplace
Actively use all social media channels Wilsonart participates in to promote the brand and product
Sell Wilsonart through a continual organized and professional presence in the local market
Be available to meet with customers daily, and at events (i.e. Wilsonart or industry-sponsored), sometimes outside normal business hours
Travel within an established territory to build and continue relationships with new and existing customers
Maintain business expense receipts and submit expense reports for reimbursement on a timely basis
