Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWilshire Pacific Builders is a Chandler-based company that specializes in the construction and renovation of multifamily housing projects throughout the US. We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.Responsibilities:Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementationAllocate resources for assigned projectsSupervise onsite personnel and subcontractorsInterface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clientsNegotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costsBid new projects, meet with subcontractors on site to walk projects, qualify subcontractors, write scopes of work for subcontractors, and negotiate all subcontracts and change orders.Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specificationsDraft change order requests and RFI’s to the owner/architects with appropriate backup.Some travel will be required, length of travel depends on the needs of individual projects, however the average is about twice a month for two-day/one-night trips.Qualifications:Previous experience in construction management or other related fieldsFamiliarity with construction management softwareStrong leadership qualitiesStrong negotiation skillsDeadline and detail-orientedGoals:To utilize your skills to successfully and efficiently complete the work necessary to advance Wilshire Pacific Builders.To become a key member of the Wilshire Pacific Builders team and grow within the company.To be challenged in ways which create growth and enjoyment in your work.To benefit overall, personally, and financially through the growth and success of Wilshire Pacific Builders.
