    Wieland is hiring a Machine Operator. The machine operator will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring manufacturing machinery to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. This role is located in Duncansville, PA and will be fully on-site.

    Starting Pay: $19.44 to $20.61/hr for the 60-90 day training period, then $24.28 to $25.79/hr depending on the department/position.

    Schedule: 2nd shift, 3:00pm to 11:00pm. Training on 1st shift from 7:00am to 3:00pm for estimated 2 to 4 weeks.

    Pay Schedule: Weekly

    Wieland is hiring a Tinning Operator. The Tinning Operator will be responsible for all tasks that support the production of material in our hot tin dip facility. This includes the processing, handling, and packaging of material as well as tasks associated with the operation of tinning line machines as determined by the leadership.     Bar Saw Operator Responsibilities:

    Duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following: Create and maintain a safe organized working environment. Operate machinery in a safe manner to ensure quality product. Inspect material before and after operation for imperfections.Load and unload product from the machinery for processing. Set speed, atmospheric, and combustion controls as required.Add weights to and remove weights from the tensioning device to ensure proper tracking and quality output from the machine.Continuously monitor such factors as temperature and combustion controls.Inspect strip for surface defects.Run sample tests to determine compliance with specifications.Use electronic contact and non-contact gauges, indicators, and controls to operate the machine and check product.Check material for surface finish or other properties and communicate with metrology lab to ensure the product meets appropriate specifications.Move material to and from the machine using forklifts, transporters, cranes, and pallet jacks.Direct the work of one or more helpers or assistant operators to maximize machine uptime, quality, and productivity.Perform other similar or related duties or flex to other areas of the plant as required or directed.Become proficient in using Wieland Factory Suite (WFS)

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for maintaining and performing duties specific to the operations of the Customer Service Department. Establishes a rapport with existing and potential customers to bring service to a level that exceeds customer expectations in the processing of orders, quotations, and other service requirements.     Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:Clearly and professionally communicate with customers, colleagues, and other departments to ensure understanding, collaboration, and customer satisfaction.Complete assigned tasks and resolve customer inquiries accurately and within established timelines.Meet or exceed assigned goals, demonstrating accountability, productivity, and contribution to team success.Pursue ongoing learning and skill enhancement to maintain professional growth

    Customer Service Representative Qualifications:Exceptional attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality work.Comfortable multitasking, managing priorities, and staying productive in a fast-paced environment.Lead the quote preparation process, ensuring accurate pricing and timely responses to customer inquiries.Gather and analyze customer product requirements to develop precise cost estimates and production specifications.Collaborate with key accounts on special projects and pricing strategies for new products.Maintain in-depth knowledge of product lines, pricing structures, lead times, and ongoing marketing or promotional initiatives.Coordinate with Process Control, Raw Material Buyer, Shipping departments and other internal departments to deliver exceptional customer support.Direct customers to appropriate internal contacts for technical assistance and product guidance.Communicate customer interactions within assigned territories to outside sales representatives.Enter production orders accurately and expedite orders as required to meet customer deadlines.Performs in a manner that will prevent errors and omissions, at both the customer level and internally.Prepare and process invoicing in a timely and accurate manner.Assist in training and onboarding departmental personnel.High school diploma or equivalent.Prior experience in a customer service role.
