This position is ideal for a skilled clinician committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered eye care in a community-based, outpatient setting. Youll work alongside optometrists, technicians, and administrative staff in a supportive, mission-driven environment dedicated to advancing health equity.Key Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose ocular diseases and disordersConduct ophthalmic surgeries including cataract, glaucoma, corneal, vitreoretinal, and oculoplastic proceduresPrescribe and administer medications, corrective lenses, and ophthalmologic therapiesPerform laser procedures and other treatments for a range of eye conditionsDevelop individualized treatment plans and educate patients on preventive eye careCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care and make specialist referrals as neededRequirements:Board Certified or Board Eligible in OphthalmologyLicensed or eligible for medical licensure in MassachusettsCurrent BLS certificationProven clinical experience as an OphthalmologistStrong clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamwork abilitiesExpert knowledge of eye diseases, anatomy, and ophthalmic proceduresJoin Our Team!Be part of a center of excellence at Whittier Street Health Center, where we believe health care is a pathway to equity and justice.
