    The Accelerated Sales Program is a comprehensive, sales-specific training program designed to fast-track the growth and development of new Outside Sales Representatives/Account Managers. Participants will work closely with White Cap sales leaders in a 6-12 month program to develop the skills, customer and supplier relationships, and knowledge needed to be successful in outside sales.

    An Account Manager - Accelerated Sales Program

    Participates in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to learn the White Cap's business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills.Prepares and executes account plans.Sells White Cap value proposition and products.Learns about making effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers.Enters and processes customer orders.Performs other duties as assigned.This position requires operation of a company vehicle or a personal vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 80% of the average work week. If selected for this position, the company will run a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field or one to two years of sales or related field experienceStrong communication skills and comfortable interacting with team membersRequires strong self-governance, a proactive approach, personal accountability, and independence.Competitive nature with a drive to succeedGoal-oriented with personal accountability to deliver on metricsOpen to feedback and willing to take action to improve performanceDemonstrated ability to plan and organize daily activitiesSpanish language proficiency

    Pay Range This position's targeted base salary is $37,000 per year. This role is eligible for additional variable compensation with a starting target of $ 80,000 per year.
