    We’re looking for a Senior AV Technician / Programmer who takes pride in doing things right. Someone who notices the details others miss and doesn’t just finish a job, but refines it until it feels effortless for the client.

    What This Role Really Is

    This is not a “show up and install” position.

    You will be trusted to:

    Make decisions on-site without waiting aroundSolve problems and take ownership of outcomesProgram and commission systems that feel intuitive and polishedDeliver results that reflect a luxury standardYou are the last step before the client experience—and that matters here.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    Lead installation and commissioning of advanced AV and automation systemsProgram systems (Savant Systems experience preferred)Integrate and troubleshoot:Audio & video systemsLighting control (Savant, Lutron Electronics)Networking & Wi-FiSurveillance & access controlMotorized shadesTest, calibrate, and refine systems for performance and usabilityRead plans, wiring diagrams, and documentationCollaborate with project managers, designers, and clientsDeliver polished client walkthroughsMaintain clean racks, wiring, and installation standardsContribute to improving systems and workflowsWhat You Bring

    3–7+ years in AV installation or automationStrong programming and commissioning experienceSavant experience preferred (trainable for the right person)Solid understanding of AV systems and signal flowExperience with lighting control systemsWorking knowledge of networking (IP, routers, Wi-Fi)Strong troubleshooting mindset—you figure things outAbility to work independently and take ownershipClose attention to detail and pride in your workStrong communication skillsValid driver’s licenseNice to Have

    We design and deliver fully integrated, design-driven technology experiences for some of the most beautiful homes and spaces in North Texas.

    We are looking for a driven, detail-obsessed Junior AV Technician who wants to be part of a team that operates at a higher level—where craftsmanship, precision, and client experience matter.

    This is not an entry-level “helper” role.

    This is for someone who wants to learn fast, execute at a high level, and grow into a top-tier technician in the luxury integration space.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    Assist in the installation and integration of high-end AV, lighting, shading, and control systemsExecute clean, precise wiring (Cat6, speaker wire, fiber, etc.) with attention to detail and aestheticsSupport rack builds, device mounting, TV installations, and system commissioningWork alongside senior technicians to learn system design, troubleshooting, and programming basicsRepresent WH Technologies on job sites with professionalism and pride in your workEnsure every install meets our standard: clean, reliable, and invisibleMandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

    Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (must be able to get to job sites across DFW)Hands-on experience in AV installation (residential or commercial)Strong understanding of low-voltage wiring fundamentalsAbility to use tools safely and effectively (drills, testers, termination tools, etc.)Physically able to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in construction environmentsStrong work ethic, punctuality, and accountabilityWhat Sets You Apart (Highly Valued)

    Experience with Savant systemsBasic understanding of AV system programming or configurationCertifications (or working toward them), such as:CEDIA certificationsNetworking certifications (CompTIA, Ubiquiti, etc.)Experience with:Structured wiring and rack buildsNetworking (routers, switches, access points)Lighting control or motorized shadesA mindset of continuous improvement and pride in craftsmanshipWho You Are
