Your Day-to-Day: Ensure items are processed through receiving/receipt inspection promptly. Ensure material is procured, staged, and available for prefab, testing, and installation activities Attend kick-off project meetings to understand the scope of work / materials Attend project meetings Participate in walkdowns Provide feedback on Engineering Change Material List (ECML) and 60% and 90% package reviews Review Field Change Request (FCR), Request for Information (RFI), ECMLs, Engineering Take-offs and quotes Complete and ensure Maximo Engineering Requests are submitted for new materials Ensure all Engineering Requests are closed out after review of new item creation Identify parts with a long lead/procurement time for project teams Vet all materials considered for installation to ensure item numbers are created per the procedure. Ensure that Critical Digital Assets (CDAs) are maintained by the procedures. Ensure all Maximo Purchase Requisitions are approved by the appropriate individuals per procedure. Perform all material transfers properly. Ensure inventories are maintained for project installations Maintain staging areas owned by Materials team for good housekeeping. Ensure material from delivery locations are picked up and processed through materials sea land/location and tracked Track issues during outages and report to management If unused Quality Level (QL-1) material is accepted by MMD, ensure that it is returned Communicate obsolete items identified by the buyer to the Projects teams. Provide recommended replacements for obsolete parts per supplier or through research Ensure you create General Trackers (GTs) for equipment required to return to inventory upon removal. Provide process improvement input/ideas Who You Are: As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team: Associates degree or 2-5 years material or nuclear experience Knowledge of material logistics and coordination We desire nuclear power plant or military experience. Be able to pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana and CBD oil), and employment testing. About the role: Participate in weekly production meetings with planning, manufacturing engineering, project engineering and project management. Work with the planning lead and scheduler to status progress in project schedules. Collaborate with project team, shop technicians, QC, QA, supply chain, planning and manufacturing engineering when issues arise. You will report to the Manager I C QA and Ops Planning and be located at the Warrendale, PA Facility. This position will be fully on-site. Key Responsibilities: Work with Manufacturing Engineering and shop Technicians in development of production order operations Participate in weekly Purchasing meeting to ensure procurements are on schedule Track open demand activities (purchase requisitions, purchase orders, inspection lots and production orders) to ensure projects stay on schedule Work with Quality Control to prioritize inspections of procured and manufactured goods Work with Shop Manager on weekly schedule for work assignments Release material picks to the storeroom for material issued to production orders Manufacturing Transformation Initiative support Create/maintain bills of material in SAP for representative product drawings Provide labor estimates for representative product drawings Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, (project, operations or business management preferred) Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
