    Do you have a heart for caregiving and the skills to make a difference? At Wesley Enhanced Living, we're looking for a dedicated Personal Care Aide/Med Tech to join our team. Help us provide personalized care and support while ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable, and valued every day.

    Job Type: Full-time/Part-time available

    Pay: up to $19 per hour (Shift differentials offered)

    Schedule: 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am

    What You'll Do:

    Provide daily personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility support)

    Administer medications safely and accurately as a Med Tech

    Monitor residents' health and report changes promptly

    Offer companionship and emotional support

    What We're Looking For:

    Med Tech Certification (state-specific) required

    Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred

    Medication administration certificate issued by DHS Diabetes Education Certificate

    The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) is responsible to make a compelling difference in the lives of our residents providing excellence and innovation in aging services. The primary role of the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is to assist in providing appropriate aspects of quality patient care under the supervision of licensed Occupational Therapist.

    Job Type: POOL

    Schedule: Every Friday or Saturday

    Essential Responsibilities:

    Implement and execute an established patient treatment plan under the supervision of an occupational therapist. Monitor a patient's progress to make sure they are successfully tolerating and completing treatment. Help patients improve their quality of life by finding solutions to their problems. Communicate with patients, families, referring physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Provides timely written documentation per facility and department requirements. Develop and enhance clinical and professional skills through knowledge and professional associations. Have a working knowledge of medicare and other payor sources. have full knowledge of resident's rights. Exude professionalism in presentation. Perform other duties required. Qualifications:

    Qualifications and Education requirements:

    An active Occupational Therapy Assistant with PA license Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant curriculum/2 -Year Educational Program in Occupational Therapy Pass the Certification Examination for Occupational Therapy Assistant prepared and administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). 24 hours of continued competency for licensure renewal.

    The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible to make a compelling difference in the lives of our residents providing excellence and innovation in aging services. As part of the interdisciplinary team the OT promotes and maintains the functional performance, physical mobility and well being of the residents through the implementation of occupational therapy services.

    Essential Responsibilities: Develop, establish goals, implement, evaluate and re-evaluate individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for WEL Residents at multiple sites. Performs appropriate evaluations and treatment to residents including activities of daily living and range of motion exercises to improve residents ability. Use discharge planning skills to promote independence and maximize function . Represent OT at required meetings on resident care, staffing and other subjects, under the direction of the Director of Rehabilitation Services. Promotes effective and positive working relationships among rehab staff, residents and other WEL departments. Performs other duties as required. Related Experience: Three to five years of experience in skilled nursing facility setting. Demonstrates sincere interest in working with frail senior participants. Demonstrates ability to work as part of the interdisciplinary team and make meaningful contributions to the development of the plan of care. Education or Degree Requirement: Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy. Must be an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the American Occupational Therapy Association and certified by the American Occupational Therapy Association under its requirements. Licenses, Certifications, Registrations: Must have current unrestricted licensed as required in the state of Pennsylvania. Must be registered with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board.
