Wells Brothers Inc. is currently hiring experienced Welding and Fabrication Field Technicians to join our growing team. To be successful in this role, you need to be self-motivated, team orientated, punctual, have a high level of integrity, and have the ability and willingness to teach and learn.
Essential Duties
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Maintain a low Safety Incident Occurrence History Load and unload truckRead and interpret blueprints and engineering plans. Use the blueprints along with other data, such as work plans, to develop and design their welding/assembly projects.Lay out, cut, fit, measure and weld metals to create the desired shape or object. This is highly detailed work and requires the Welder Fabricator to be knowledgeable of many techniques and tools.Must constantly inspect and test welds and equipment. Welds are checked for durability as well as meeting specified standards and equipment must be examined to determine if repairs or new equipment is needed.Experience and Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine pipe layout. Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles. Assemble and install various types of pipe, including stainless steel, sanitary pipe, carbon steel, and PVC. Perform TIG, MIG, and Stick welding as needed for pipe installation. Inspect and repair piping systems and components. Work closely with team members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in pipefitting and/or pipe welding. Proficiency in TIG, MIG, and Stick welding processes. Ability to read and interpret prints, diagrams, and technical drawings. Strong understanding of industrial piping systems, including installation and maintenance. Ability to work in various industrial environments, including confined spaces and elevated locations.
