    About the Role

    The Senior Valuation Analyst is responsible for the overall pricing process within Enterprise Data Services as it applies to fixed income securities, exchange-traded equities and derivatives, as well as currencies. The candidate will perform pricing and quality control functions on a daily basis while working with internal teams and market data vendors to improve the Firm's pricing process. The candidate has a strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and an energetic approach to process improvement. The role requires an individual who can work well independently, is a problem solver, and is knowledgeable of departmental and company responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is passionate about valuation, stays abreast on topics within the pricing industry as well as vendor initiatives and is knowledgeable of different security types, systems, tools and workflows.

    Responsibilities Execute and oversee daily valuation processes for fixed income, equity, and derivative instruments. Perform quality control checks and resolve pricing exceptions in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors. Support the transition of valuation workflows to the Western time zone, ensuring continuity and operational resilience. Partner with technology and data teams to enhance pricing tools, automation, and exception handling. Maintain documentation of pricing methodologies, controls, and audit trails. Contribute to projects focused on improving valuation accuracy, transparency, and efficiency. Provide subject matter expertise on pricing models, vendor feeds, and market conventions. Qualifications
    The successful candidate for this position is likely to: 3+ years of experience in valuation, pricing operations, or a related financial services role. Strong understanding of fixed income, equity, and derivative instruments. Familiarity with pricing vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, ICE, Standard and Poor's, Refinitiv) and valuation tools. Proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL, Python, or Tableau is a plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. They prioritize and complete their pipeline of onboardings, driving our team's agenda with the dealers while managing our counterparty relationships, and acting as a knowledgeable resource regarding the status of each request.

    In addition to being responsible for a rolling book of requests, the Lead Analyst is expected to have a high level of impact across the team and key stakeholders groups supporting management in strategic delivery. Additional responsibilities include leading transformation work through technology solutions, vendor tools and relationship management. Participating in working groups and supporting the team and firm by providing education and cross training related to Derivatives Onboarding are also core role attributes.     We are looking to hire a Fixed Income Portfolio Analyst. Based in Boston, the ideal candidate will work with the Securitized Team to implement their investment strategies in client portfolios.

    The Securitized Team actively manages portfolios that provide exposures to agency mortgage-backed securities (MBS), mortgage derivatives (CMO), asset-backed securities (ABS), collateralized loan obligations (CLO), commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), among others.     THE POSITION
    Our global investment platform is comprised of over 700 investment professionals across six investment functions (Boutiques, Hedge Funds, Privates, Research, Risk & Science, Strategy, and Trading) in eight locations (Boston, Hong Kong, London, New York, Radnor, San Francisco, Singapore, and Tokyo).

    Within the investment platform, we are seeking a Business Manager to partner with the Private Investments Platform. Today, the Private Investment Platform currently manages over $8 billion in committed capital across a broad range of private equity and credit strategies including late-stage growth, multi-stage sustainability venture, early-stage venture, Real Estate Debt, Growth Lending, and Investment Grade Private Placements, and is one of the fastest growing investment groups within Wellington. The Business Manager will work closely with the Private Investments Leadership Team ("PILT"), helping implement the strategic vision for the private investment platform, ensuring strong collaboration and communication across functions and facilitating decision-making, as well as managing day to day activities related to product development, marketing, operations, and governance of Wellington's private investment strategies.

    The Business Manager will be a member of the Investment Platform COO Function residing at the intersection of the investment functions. The Business Manager will report to the Director, Investment Platform Business Intelligence & Management.

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS
    The following essential skills are required for the role:

    • Project management expertise with strategic orientation-The ideal candidate will partner with the PILT to develop and execute the department's strategic plan and various department-wide initiatives. Experience in driving fast-paced initiatives and collaborating across multiple functional groups and platforms is key to success in this role.

    • Analytical approach to problem solving - As a member of the PILT, the Business Manager will serve an important role in providing the tools and framework needed for the PILT and investors to execute their roles. The ideal candidate will utilize data in a succinct way to enable the PILT to better assess their investors, make business decisions, and support business cases. In addition, the Business Manager will exhibit strong attention to detail with an ability to quickly spot and diagnose errors and will proactively problem solve issues.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Areas of responsibility will include but are not limited to:

    • Drive the strategic agenda and operational needs within the PILT, keeping the team focused and organized around the most important initiatives;
    • Provide tactical support to the PILT, including project management support, managing certain processes and regular meetings;
    • Leverage a deep understanding of the investment process in order to marshal the right resources to allow our investors to exceed the performance expectations of our clients most efficiently and effectively;
    • Proactively improve processes and data flow across the division and broader privates platform; and
    • Assist with the year-end performance evaluation and peer review process.

    OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
    Additional qualifications and characteristics include:

    • 7+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally in an investment-adjacent or business management role;
    • Superior organizational skills with a results orientation. The ability to manage, prioritize and complete multiple projects simultaneously is required;
    • Credibility to engage productively with senior investors and leaders, including ability to constructively challenge the status quo and solve problems;
    • A strong understanding of the global capital markets and a keen interest in understanding the investment process. Knowledge of private markets would be additive

The base salary range for this position is:
    USD 65,000 - 150,000
    This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.

    Base salary is only one component of Wellington's total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
