We are seeking a Project Engineer / Shop Drawing Coordinator to support our growing Banquet Seating and Custom Design Division. This role combines drafting, shop drawings, project coordination, procurement, and construction support for unique commercial interior and architectural feature projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in architectural millwork, casework, commercial furniture, custom fabrication, specialty trades, or commercial interiors who wants to grow into Project Management.
What You'll Do
Prepare, coordinate, and manage shop drawings and submittal packagesReview architectural plans, specifications, and project requirementsCoordinate with CAD, production teams, vendors, and Project ManagersTrack revisions, ASIs, bulletins, and project changesAssist with procurement, material ordering, and lead time managementSupport project schedules and installation coordinationAssist with change orders and scope reviewsOrganize field installation documentation and project filesCommunicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects remain on trackSupport custom design-build projects involving wood, metal, glass, fabrics, and specialty finishesHelp develop practical solutions that meet both design intent and project budgetsProjects Include
