WeldFit is looking for an experienced candidate to be responsible for the operation of Manual Mill machines. Responsible for performing machine maintenance and repairs by performing the following duties.
Other Duties / Expectations:
Report any manufacturing error to your supervisor.Immediately report incident/accident to your immediate supervisor when they happen.Adhere to Company Safety Rules and Regulations.Always wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.Must be able to perform basic Housekeeping and Machine Maintenance.Must be able to work with fractions, decimals, trigonometry, etc.Must know how to run Manual horizontal boring mill machineMust know how to operate a Carlton drill.Must be able to use precision measuring instruments.Must be able to perform machine set-ups/indicators without assistance.Perform quality checks on parts using inspection devicesWork with the supervisor to achieve good production result at all times.Discuss ways to improve processes in the shop with the plant manager.Ask questions when drawings are not clear or too complicated to interpret.Must be able to read Blueprints/Machine Drawings and understand manufacturing documents/specifications.Update time on job orders accuratelyDouble check completed work.

Education/Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or EquivalentMinimum 3 years of experience required machining similar types of productsExperience with oilfield products preferred.

This position is responsible for operating the CNC Horizontal Boring Mill in the shop by performing the duties and responsibilities below.
Machine parts to specifications using machines such as Horizontal Boring MillsAble to understand and edit G code and M code programsUnderstand speeds and feeds for machining and proper set upsCalculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as calipers and micrometersSet up, adjust and operate all machinesCheck work pieces to ensure alignment and materials onto machinesClean lubricate machines as neededMonitor the feed and speed of the CNC machinesWork and think safety at all timesWorking M-F 6 a.m. - 3 p.m. with overtime and weekends as necessary.Education/Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalentPrior machine shop experience requiredMust have at least 3 years of CNC machiningRequired Skills:
