We Search People is seeking a seasoned, highly skilled Construction Superintendent to lead onsite operations for a large-scale multifamily renovation project with a nationally recognized, industry-leading multifamily builder. This position requires a hands-on field leader with extensive renovation experience and a strong ability to drive quality, safety, scheduling, and coordination from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Oversee all onsite construction activities for multifamily renovation projects in Newport News, VA. Manage daily field operations, schedules, and sequencing to ensure timely project completion. Enforce jobsite safety protocols, quality standards, and compliance with building codes. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and onsite crews. Conduct daily walkthroughs to monitor progress, quality of work, and adherence to plans and specifications. Identify and resolve field issues proactively to avoid delays and cost overruns. Lead onsite meetings, communicate progress, and collaborate closely with project management and leadership teams.
