SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for leading all technology functions across the organization. This role ensures that business systems, engineering services, logistics, planning tools, and information flow support company operations and customer needs. The CIO drives innovation, oversees IT strategy, and leads the IT team to deliver reliable, secure, and efficient technology solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Management
Oversee IT operations, including budgeting and all personnel functions (hiring, performance reviews, coaching, and development).Model strong leadership and create a positive, collaborative team environment.Ensure IT team goals for quality, service, and delivery are met or exceeded.Support and uphold company core values and key initiatives, including safety, quality, and productivity.Maintain adherence to all IT and quality management system procedures.Participate in leadership meetings and cross-functional initiatives.Technology Strategy & Innovation
Lead research, development, and implementation of modern IT solutions.Encourage innovative thinking to improve processes, systems, and overall performance.Participate in strategic planning and advise leadership on IT opportunities or risks.Stay current on evolving applications, systems, and infrastructure technologies.Oversee network administration, including security, backups, user accounts, and system performance.Conduct technology needs assessments and recommend improvements.Deploy hardware and software to support organizational growth.Assist in planning and supporting telecom, network, and computing infrastructure across all locations.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Respond to requests for information and support from internal departments.Define clear roles and responsibilities for IT team members.Partner with departments to identify technology improvements and resolve issues.Provide user training for basic IT operations and system changes.Manage secure network access for onsite and remote users.Ensure compliance with software licensing requirements.Operations & Project Execution
Recommend and implement technology upgrades to enhance enterprise operations.Support new product, service, and process introductions from an IT perspective.Lead IT projects from concept through implementation, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.Ensure data accuracy, system security, and proper execution of the IT roadmap.Establish technology standards, resolve system issues, and drive continuous improvement.Coordinate schedules and resources with user departments to complete IT projects effectively.Perform additional duties as assigned.
Experience

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, responsible, energetic, and self-starter Controller who is detail-oriented, diligent, and technically strong in all aspects of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The ideal candidate is a strong analytical thinker with curiosity to understand the “why” behind the numbers and can bring both accountability and clear communication to the team.
The Controller is responsible for leading the accounting functions, ensuring the integrity of financial data, and providing accurate, timely reporting. This role requires above-average attention to detail, a concern for correctness, and a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Operational:
Timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements and supporting documents for multiple entities.Analyze financial results and notify the CFO of irregularities, trends, or major budget variances.Maintain the integrity of the accounting system in compliance with GAAP and internal controls.Recommend and maintain financial procedures to support sound management decisions and fiscal control.Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for account balances, including bank reconciliations.Verify all expenditures are properly approved and justified in line with company procedures.Prepare and submit sales tax reports and payments.Organizational Planning & Management:
Provide management with financial insights vital to operational and strategic decision-making.Monitor reports and recommend ways to reduce costs and improve efficiency.Assist in preparing the annual operating and capital budgets.Maintain open communication across departments and subsidiaries to foster teamwork.Support financial projects assigned by executive leadership.Assist with modernization of backend accounting systems, including electronic and digital payment processes.Facilitate data extraction and analysis using databases, software systems, and Excel.
