Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing multiple interior construction projects from pre-construction through project closeout. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in commercial interior construction, including drywall systems, metal framing, acoustic ceiling installations, specialty finishes, and tenant improvement projects. This role requires strong leadership, financial management, scheduling expertise, and the ability to successfully manage clients, subcontractors, field personnel, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Manage multiple commercial interior construction projects simultaneously.Lead projects from estimating handoff through final completion and warranty periods.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and staffing requirements.Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary.Ensure all projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.Conduct project kickoff meetings and ongoing project status meetings.Review and approve project documentation, contracts, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.Financial Management
Prepare and manage project budgets and forecasts.Track labor productivity, material costs, subcontractor performance, and overall project profitability.Review project cost reports and identify opportunities for cost savings.Negotiate and manage change orders with clients and subcontractors.Oversee project billing, collections, and financial reporting.Client Relations
Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, architects, and consultants.Build and maintain strong client relationships.Provide regular project updates and reports.Resolve project issues and conflicts professionally and efficiently.Identify opportunities for repeat business and new project opportunities.Construction Operations
Oversee installation activities involving:Metal stud framingDrywall systemsAcoustic ceilingsSpecialty ceilingsInterior finish systemsDoors, frames, and hardwareTenant improvement constructionCoordinate field operations with Superintendents and Foremen.Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards.Monitor quality control and project safety performance.Leadership & Team Development
Lead and mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers.Provide coaching and performance feedback to project teams.Assist with recruitment, training, and development of project management personnel.Foster a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Risk Management
Identify and mitigate project risks.Review contract terms and conditions.Manage claims, disputes, and project documentation.Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.Equivalent combination of education and construction experience considered.Experience
10+ years of commercial construction project management experience.5+ years managing interior construction projects.Extensive experience with:Drywall systemsMetal stud framingAcoustic ceiling systemsCommercial interiorsTenant improvement projectsHealthcare, education, office, retail, or government facilities preferred.Experience managing projects valued from $1 million to $50+ million.Required Skills

The Chief Estimator is responsible for leading and managing all estimating functions for underground utility construction projects. This executive-level role oversees the development of accurate, competitive, and strategic bids while ensuring alignment with company goals, risk tolerance, and profitability targets. Leadership & Department Management

Minimum 10+ years of experience in underground utility construction estimating.At least 5 years in a leadership or management role overseeing estimating teams.Proven success managing large, complex infrastructure bids and estimating operations.Certifications (Preferred):

The Estimating Administrator provides administrative and coordination support to the estimating department to ensure the efficient preparation and submission of competitive project bids. This role assists in organizing bid documents, coordinating subcontractor and vendor solicitations, maintaining estimating databases, and supporting the estimating team throughout the bidding process. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced construction environment.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the preparation and solicitation of cost estimates. • Procure project documents and bid files for internal and external use. • Obtain and maintain historical pricing information for estimating purposes. • Maintain an organized database of vendors and subcontractors. • Maintain contractor prequalification database. • Solicit subcontractors and vendors for quotes, including forwarding project documents and conducting follow-up through verbal and written communication. • Support the estimating team in preparing bid proposals and presentations for clients. • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable industry regulations. • Deliver bid packages and attend bid openings as necessary. • Maintain the bid calendar in coordination with the Chief Estimator. • Assist the estimating team in prospective vendor and subcontractor solicitations. • Perform other related duties and administrative tasks as assigned.
