    About the Role: Your Impact As a Warehouse Associate at Wayfair, you are the engine of our logistics network, directly responsible for ensuring our customers receive their orders quickly and in perfect condition. What You'll Do (Core Responsibilities) This role requires a team player who is willing to move between departments (such as Receiving, Picking, Packing, Shipping, and Returns) based on operational needs. Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to, the following core functions: Handling & Movement: Safely load, unload, and move large and small furniture orders and inventory of various sizes. This will involve manually lifting items up to 75 lbs. unassisted and maneuvering/team lifting products up to 150 lbs. Technology & Inventory: Utilize scanners, handheld devices (e.g., Nexus), and warehouse software to accurately track, process, and update inventory and order locations across all operational stages. Quality & Preparation: Perform comprehensive quality control tasks, which may include inspecting, assembling ( deluxing ), repackaging, labeling, and sorting products to prevent damage before shipping. MHE Operation: When certified, safely operate various Material Handling Equipment (MHE) , such as order pickers, electronic pallet jacks, and reach trucks, often at high elevations. Safety & Teamwork: Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area ( 5S ) to ensure safety and efficiency. What You'll Need Physical Capability: The ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work a full shift (8+ hours a day) in a dynamic, non-climate-controlled warehouse environment. The ability to frequently lift and move merchandise up to 75+ lbs. unassisted . Able to read and comprehend English to ensure your safety and the safety of those working around you. Equipment Experience: Minimum 6 months of cherry picker, order picker, or related MHE experience required. Comfort with Heights: Must be comfortable working at heights (up to 40ft) while handling large products. Experience (Preferred): Previous warehouse, logistics, or comparable experience is preferred. A High School Diploma or GED is also preferred. Technical Skills: Basic ability to use computers, tablets, and handheld inventory devices is essential.

    What you'll do

    Maintain luxury experience standards and provide an authentic, inviting guest experience that exemplifies our commitment to customer satisfaction and passion for luxury design. Own your book of business end-to-end, fostering long-standing relationships with design clients and prospecting potential new design customers in the store and in the community. Meet the complex needs of the Perigold customer, including large-scale luxury projects, trade projects, and intricate custom product development Leverage your interior design and sales expertise in the home furnishings space to help our customers navigate through their design needs and purchases. Share your expertise in fabric and finishes, bringing awareness to performance, texture and durability characteristics as well as market trends using digital and physical swatches Manage virtual, in-home, and in-store design appointments (including preparation of design deliverables, product curation, and follow up). Utilize sales analytics and design software tools and applications to drive store profitability and growth in a way that supports the success of the overall brand (moodboards, space plans, 2d/3d room views). Efficiently manage your time in design appointments and sales floor interactions by prioritizing the customer experience while keeping communication open with leadership.     What you'll need

    Experience & Qualifications

    2+ years of design experience within a design firm or high end furniture retailer. Professional portfolio required. Familiarity with Perigold supplier brands, materials and construction, and custom programs a plus. Proven track record of managing large-scale projects for luxury B2C and trade customers. Passion for design, great customer service and a drive to exceed sales targets. Strong organization, self-motivation, communication and relationship management skills. Technical acumen to learn necessary software; proficiency in Google Suites and/or Microsoft Office applications preferred. Experience leveraging CRMs/POS/ and design software such as Salesforce, DesignFiles, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit, etc. preferred Demonstrated ability to work within a team sales environment. Track record of thriving in a fast paced and changing environment. Bachelor's degree or college diploma equivalent specializing in Art, Architecture, or Interior Design preferred. Flexibility availability (including mornings, nights, weekends, some holidays).

    What you'll do:

    Define, design and implement a flexible visual merchandising strategy that can adapt to the wide variety of product that arrives in the outlet
