The ideal candidate is dependable, has heavy equipment, and SCADA systems experience. Must be able to work independently while communicating effectively with supervisors, technicians, contractors, and other site personnel. Key Responsibilities: Install, monitor, and maintain landfill gas (LFG) and leachate collection systems (wells, piping, pumps, etc). Monitor gas wells and leachate systems for flow, pressure, and performance. Adjust gas wells to optimize collection and maintain compliance. Troubleshoot and repair leaks, blockages, pump failures, and system issues. Collect and record field data (gas readings, leachate levels, system performance). Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance. Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Coordinate with site personnel, technicians, and contractors to support plant reliability and overall site goals. Assist with inventory tracking and communicate supply or parts needs to supervision. Respond to call-outs, emergencies, and off-hours operational needs as required. Job Requirements: Valid Driver's License with Clean Driving Record. (Required) Reliable Transportation for On-Call Schedule Must pass criminal background check, drug panel screening and motor vehicle report to be eligible for employment. High school diploma or GED required; technical training, trade school, or related college coursework is preferred. Experience in plant operations, industrial equipment, landfill gas systems, utility systems, mechanical maintenance, or a similar industrial environment is preferred.
