About the Role As a Landfill Operations Supervisor, you'll play a key leadership role in managing daily landfill operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow into higher-level management within 1-3 years. What You'll Do Lead and supervise work crews operating heavy equipment and waste handling operations. Monitor daily operations and adjust staffing or assignments as needed. Conduct field inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and operational excellence. Address customer concerns and ensure high service standards. Coach and mentor team members; conduct performance reviews and development plans. Set and execute short- and long-term operational goals. Oversee compliance with environmental, OSHA, and local permitting regulations. Support a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Site drone support; Part 107 drone license required within first six months of employment. What You Bring Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred. 3+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced, people-driven environment. Experience operating or managing heavy equipment operations preferred. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business systems. What Youll Do: Ability to read route Tablet/sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher. Perform Daily Pre-trip and Post-Trip DOT inspections on vehicles.
