The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection and transportation of waste to designated disposal sites. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, customer service , and environmental responsibility.

    Pay: $20 per hour with eligibility for monthly safety bonuses.

    Days: Monday - Friday with an occasional Saturday

    Hours: Start time is 6 am. Working 45-55 hour per week

    Key Responsibilities:

    Waste Collection and Transportation:Operate trash trucks to collect garbage, recycling, and yard waste on assigned routes.Ensure the safe and efficient loading of waste materials using appropriate techniques and equipment.Transport collected waste to designated disposal facilities.

    Vehicle Operation and Maintenance:Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring it is in good working condition.Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the fleet maintenance team promptly.Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the vehicle to ensure compliance with safety standards.

    Qualifications:

    Valid commercial driver's license ( CDL ) with a clean driving record.Two years of consistent commercial driving experience preferred .Strong knowledge of local streets and routes.Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety.Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and loading heavy items, with the ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb into the truck multiple times a day.Comfortable working in various weather conditionsGood communication and interpersonal skills.Steady working history.Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle inspections and minor maintenance tasks.

    Ability to adapt to a wide variety of environments to complete work assignments

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    Minimum 1 year of proven experience in the field preferred

    Ability to work an average of 40-50 hours a week

    Schedule will be 1st Shift Sunday-Wednesday- 4:30am to 5pm

    Saturday as needed.
