  Job SummarySchedule will consist of a set of procedures along with ER pop ins and TraumaPerforming image-guided procedures to diagnose conditions, such as blockages in blood vessels, tumors, and infectionsTreating medical conditions, such as:Placing stents to open up narrowed blood vesselsEmbolizing tumors to stop blood flow to themInserting catheters to remove blood clots or drain fluidPerforming biopsies to obtain tissue samples for diagnosisProviding pain relief by injecting medications or nerve blocksGuiding other medical professionals, such as surgeons, during proceduresAortic aneurysms, Arterial blockages, Cancer, Deep vein thrombosis, Kidney stones, Pulmonary emboli and Varicose veins100% IR

  Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), a Maximus company, is a government contractor helping our nation's Veterans.Need is on a PRN basis, ongoingTwo (2) options for coverage Travel and perform exams at VES leased facility Schedule Veterans within your own practiceOption to work days(4-hours) and/or full days(8-hours)One-Time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessmentsExams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing.No prescribing, no treatmentQuick credentialing & onboarding
  Willing to accept these specialties:family medicine,internal medicineorthopedic surgery,anyone with a background in general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension.Please Note:DMA certification available (can get CME credits) will need to obtain once privileged if not already certified- Client does not reimburse for DMA certifications or the portal training before startingUse of Goniometer requiredFamiliar with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio requiredProficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.Own personal laptop (NO MACs)Training shall be provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)Reporting/DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion - no narrative report.
