Position Overview
We are seeking a detail oriented and motivated Tax Accountant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with clients across a wide range of industries, preparing tax returns and supporting ongoing accounting services. This is a fully in office position based in Athens, GA.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returnsStay current on federal and state tax regulationsCommunicate directly with clients to gather information and answer questionsReconcile accounts, assist with bookkeeping or financial statement preparation, and produce payroll taxes as neededCollaborate with team members to meet deadlines and deliver excellent client service
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fieldCPA or CPA candidate preferred2+ years of public accounting or tax preparation experience preferredStrong knowledge of UltraTax CS, QuickBooks Online and ADP software systemsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong communication and client service skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlinesBenefits
