    How will you make a difference?

    The CSX Enterprise Software Sales Executive is responsible for owning and leading enterprise software account management and sales for Wabtec Digital Intelligence Solutions within a top-tier account (CSX Transportation). You wil act as the single point of contact, coordinating cross-functional teams to drive, close, and deliver solutions. And build strategic relationships and align digital solutions to customer business needs and outcomes.

    Required Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Engineering, CS, Logistics, or related discipline), will also consider a combination of education and experience. 5+ years of software/consulting/solution sales experience (preferably in rail or similar industries).Experience with enterprise solution selling and account leadership.Willingness to travel 25–50%.

     

    Preferred Experience & Skills

    Background in rail, freight, SaaS, cloud, or data-driven solutions.Proven success in large, complex deals ($10M+), pipeline management, and quota attainment.Strong consultative, value-based, and challenger sales capabilities.Ability to navigate complex organizations and influence executive stakeholders.Track record of building trusted C-level relationships and driving strategic outcomes.Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Experience in global/matrix environments and business development planning.Customer-centric mindset with ability to translate needs into scalable solutions.Strong financial acumen in business, deal structure and customer analysis

    What will your typical day look like?

    Core Responsibilities

    Develop deep understanding of customer objectives, pain points, and business models.Strategically work with the customer and business on projects, opportunities and service.Build and maintain C-suite relationships; serve as trusted advisor.Drive enterprise sales opportunities and apply best-practice sales methodologies.Lead matrixed teams (product, technical, partners) to scope, negotiate, and close deals.Own account strategy, customer satisfaction, and “voice of the customer.”Translate customer feedback into product and solution improvements.Support portfolio development, sales enablement, and solution positioning.Anticipate trends and adapt strategies to evolving customer and market needs.

    How will you make a difference?

    You will be responsible for performing surface finish operations, gaging, and utilizing manual equipment and automated equipment in accordance with manufacturing and quality procedures.     Basic shop math skills in all units of measure, along with ability to read and use gauges and measuring instruments.

    Who will you be working with?

    You will be working within the Field Service Tech team at our Customer facility and will report to the Regional Field Services Manager.

    The field services technician interacts with the customer to ensure that products provided for passenger trains are fully operational. They listen and respond to the customer's concerns, and diagnose and solve problems with equipment. Their goal is 100% customer satisfaction.

     

    What do we want to know about you?

    High school diploma or GED required, some college preferred.Good knowledge of relevant technologies such as electromechanical parts.Ability to take initiative to accomplish tasks. Comfortable working on retrofit and installation of new equipment.Ability to work well under pressure in difficult circumstances.  Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to treat customers with tact and respect.

     

    What will your typical day look like?

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES are to perform one or more of the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

    Respond to customer needs as instructed by the Field Service Manager.Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures in the field.  Work with engineering to resolve difficult issues.Track and report completion status of field modificationsManage response and repair times as estimated for each assigned job. Complete tasks effectively in a timely manner.Possess the knowledge necessary to implement all field related policies and procedures.Be prepared, mentally and physically, to respond quickly to field emergencies.Work with peers and sub-contractors to complete tasks successfullyInteract with customer and communicate effectively.Communicate regularly with Field Service Manager to address customer issues, scheduling, and to provide feedback on the experience with the customer.

    Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.  Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area. Secures materials from storage or work sites to designated area.  Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moves or handled to stock requisition or Kanban record.  Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information containers.  Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands together.  Removes samples of materials, labels with identifying information, and takes samples to laboratory for analysis.  Drives industrial lift trucks, electric carts, industrial sweeper, and company pick-up truck.

    What Your Typical Day Will Look Like 

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Own the end-to-end lifecycle of HR system processes, including configuration, releases, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
