PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Machine Operator is responsible to operate machines and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner to ensure the proper cleaning and preparation of castings as stated in the OMS/process sheet; efficiently inspect finished work.

We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team in Decatur, Illinois.
Purpose of this position:
Reporting directly to the Q. A. Manager the Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible to ensure implementation and execution of the QMS (Quality Management System) and to verify products are produced in accordance with the product realization design.
Task and Responsibilities:
Safety:
Sets an example for all plant employees by performing all quality functions in a safe manner and encourages safety as a staff member on the plant floor.Ensure outside visitors are aware of, and, comply with Nortrak safety practices and requirements.
Quality:
To perform appropriate inspections, to ensure that product realization processes meet all applicable specifications and standards.Performs internal process audits to verify QMS effectiveness.Maintains and controls quality records associated to product verification, measuring equipment calibration and material certification.Inspects, tests, and measures all the finishing materials.Ensure the operations and productions are following the company’s standards. Actively ensures compliance with the Nortrak’s QMS.
On-Time Delivery:
Performs duties as required to ensure that customer delivery commitments can be met and files quality records in a timely manner.
Costs:
Implements the Non-conformance and Gauge Control Programs. Reviews plant processes and pro-actively recommends material and process improvements.
People:
Acts as a resource to management and plant employees by promoting quality product and helping to train employees to avoid production of non-conforming product.Effectively liaises with customer inspectors.The QA inspector reports directly to the Manager, QA.
Environmental:
Adhere to Nortrak's Environmental Procedures, Practices and Policies.

Qualifications:
Education:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other suitable discipline.Vocational technical training in quality assurance related field is preferred.
Field of Experience:
1 to 3 years’ related experience in inspection, or At least 2 years’ experience within Nortrak employment.Knowledge in using variety of industry tools for calibration purposes.Inspection, testing, or measuring materials or products being produced. Knowledge of reading blueprints and specifications.Monitoring operations to ensure production standards.Assembly or production processes. Sound knowledge of MS Office standard, MS Projects and special programs (i.e.: MS Vision, MS SharePoint).
Physical Demands:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Occasional standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching or climbing.Must be able to lift or handle up to 25 pounds at times. We are currently looking for a Plant Controller / Senior Cost Controller to join our team in Chicago Heights, IL.
PURPOSE OF POSITION
Reporting directly to the Vice President, Controlling, the Plant Controller/Senior Cost Accountant for vaRS Nortrak’s facility located in Chicago Heights, IL, is responsible to perform and lead a variety of financial management and reporting responsibilities. You will work directly with the Plant Manager and report to the company’s VP, Controlling.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety:
Complies with all Nortrak safety policies and regulations.
Financial Management and Reporting:
Complete month-end procedures and prepare internal management reports.Analyze profitability by product, project, and customer.Lead monthly financial reviews with the CFO, VP Controlling, Plant Manager, and other departments.Support process improvement initiatives and assist with cost saving plans.Perform profitability and cost analyses for a variety of projects, investments and products.Assist decision making at a plant level with regular and ad-hoc analyses.Prepare internal budgets and monitor actual results against budget.Prepare quarterly revenue forecasts in collaboration with the production team.Work closely with Purchasing, HR and Sales to optimize cost, pricing and overhead.
Inventory and costing:
Manage product costing in SAP and review standard costs on a monthly basis.Review and reconcile labor reports and analyze actuals vs production benchmarks.Monitor inventory costing, balance and movement.Collaborate with Production Team in managing inventory counts and various operations.Identify, investigate and resolve costing and labor variances with different groups.
Other:
Monitor and enforce compliance with internal policies at the plant level.Monitor vendor invoices, provide classification and address errors.Monitor and resolve sales order issues with Sales and Account Managers.Ad-hoc reporting and financial management tasks as required.Support plant team with analytical and financial tasks. Ensures all costing is current, accurate and complete. Continuously verifies estimated costs against actuals. Manage deadlines and prioritize bids based on complexity, priority and risks

We are currently looking for a Manganese Cleaning Technician to join our team in Decatur, Illinois.
PURPOSE OF POSITION
Reporting to the Department Supervisor, the Manganese Cleaning Technician is responsible to grind, air arc and weld manganese track work castings. The Manganese Cleaning Technician is required to produce a quality casting, work safely and perform essential job duties.
Task and Responsibilities:
Operate a 4 ½ inch and 6 inch cup grinder. Capable of taking oral / written direction, in order to be trained on a job function. Be willing and able to perform job duties associated with training matrix. Work on acquiring skills, per the training matrix, to become a Cleaning Tech Level 2. Able to work with little supervision. Adhere to Nortrak’s Environmental, Safety and Quality Procedures, Practices and Policies. Other duties as assigned.Physical Demands:

We are currently looking for a Heat Treat / Shakeout Production to join our team in Decatur, Illinois.
PURPOSE OF POSITION
Reporting to the Department Supervisor, the Heat Treat / Shakeout Production is responsible to assist the movement, organization and heat-treating castings and the removal of risers from castings by flogging with a tommyknocker.
Task and Responsibilities:
Pull and stage castings for heat treat by referencing Plant Backlog.Movement and the process of loading and unloading castings into the heat treat furnace.Operate Forklift, scissor lift, hoist, manipulator, and skid-steer. Capable of taking oral/written direction, to be trained on a job function.Be willing and able to perform job duties associated with the training matrix.Read and follow production schedule.Keep heat treat area organized, clean, and free of clutter; maintain clear aisle waysVerify accuracy of Castings (Part #, Serial #, Weights, etc.).Perform daily preventive maintenances on equipment.Ability to troubleshoot minor maintenance issues with heat treat. Perform all other duties assigned by team lead or supervisor; i.e., sweep, empty trash, restock consumable items, palletize sprue bobs.Adhere to Nortrak’s Environmental, Safety and Quality Procedures, Practices and Policies.Job Requirements (e.g., education, experience, skills and desired competencies)
High School graduate or GED preferred.Forklift Certified.Knowledge of operating hoist and skidster. Able to work with little supervision.Excellent strong and effective verbal and communication skills. Wear proper PPE for job assignments. Ability to read work orders and blueprints preferred.Basic mathematical calculation experience in adding and subtracting whole numbers, fractions and decimals.Physical Demands:
Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and pushing, pulling, or lifting objects for the duration of your required schedule shift.Use hands and arms to operate tools, handle materials, and reach for the duration of your required scheduled shift.Regularly lift and carry 30–35 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.Hearing abilities necessary to perform job tasks safely and effectively.Working Location:

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our team in Birmingham, Alabama.
PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Machine Operator is responsible to operate machines and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner to ensure the proper cleaning and preparation of castings as stated in the OMS/process sheet; efficiently inspect finished work.
Task and Responsibilities:
Maintain and operate with hand and power tools like hydraulic benders, shears, punches, presses, saws, cold expansion tools, grinders, and Huckbolt tools.Perform inspections to eliminate spoilage.Clean up maintenance and machine area regularly.Read and follow the production schedule.Able to work with little supervision.Adhere to Nortrak’s Safety, Quality and Environmental Procedures, Practices and Policies.Perform other duties as assigned.Physical Demands:
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching or climbing.Use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms.Regularly lift and move up to 20-25 pounds, occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Hearing abilities related to job assigned.Job Requirements (e.g. education, experience, skills and desired competencies)
