We are seeking an experienced and motivated Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Trainer and Mental Health Clinician to join our team. This position plays a vital role in training Department of Corrections staff and supporting programming across multiple facilities.

CRISIS INTERVENTION TEAM TRAINER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Primary duties will be to provide CIT training to Department of Corrections employees or others as requested. Graduate of an accredited medical schoolFully licensed to practice in the state of employmentCurrent DEA RegistrationPreferred board certified or board eligible in primary care specialty (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine) with administrative experience in corrections and/or managed healthcare deliveryMust be fluent in English language, including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding.Must be a supportive team member who contributes to and demonstrates teamwork and team concept.Able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.Able to deal tactfully with personnel, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.Possess leadership and supervisory ability and be able to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplaceMEDICAL DIRECTOR / PHYSICIAN ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
