    Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, we provide supportive living support services to adults with developmental, mental, and behavioral disabilities in their homes.

    Your General Duties:

    ● Assist clients to reach their daily goals and provide support based on their needs.

    Be able to remain calm and deescalate a situation when behavioral issues occur.

    ● Help with all independent living skills, such as cooking healthy meals, household tasks, grocery and necessity shopping, money management, and public transportation.

    ● Ensure the highest level of independence for the people you support by assisting in day-to-day tasks.

    ● Monitor medication and accompany the people you support to medical appointments.

    ● Assist with hygiene when necessary.

    ● Develop and maintain positive relationships with our individuals’ families and third-party agencies.

    ● Participate in team meetings and trainings.

    Job Description:
    Vision Life is seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team in an on-call capacity. This role is ideal for individuals who are flexible, dependable, and committed to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving greater independence and quality of life.

    Key Responsibilities:

     Provide direct care and support to clients in their homes and community settings  Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks  Support clients in achieving personal goals and maintaining independence  Follow individualized care plans (IPP/ISP)  Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment Requirements:

     Must be available on short notice, including weekdays and weekends Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred  Strong communication and interpersonal skills  Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules  Previous experience in caregiving or DSP role is a plus, but not required Work Locations Include:
