The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading monitoring, oversight, and, where appropriate, rebalancing of the Visa Foundation's Public Markets Investments portfolio, including Public Equities and Fixed Income. Reporting to the Head of Investments, this role plays a critical part in ensuring the portfolio is managed in alignment with the Foundation's Investment Policy Statement (IPS), long‑term return objectives, liquidity needs, and risk tolerance. The Senior Manager will work closely with external investment managers, internal stakeholders, and the investment team to deliver high‑quality portfolio monitoring, detailed investment analysis, and disciplined implementation. The role also supports the Foundation's broader portfolio management needs. Key Responsibilities Public Markets Portfolio (70%) * Monitor performance, risk, and exposures across Public Equities and Public Fixed Income portfolios * Evaluate manager performance relative to benchmarks, peers, and stated mandates. * Identify performance drivers, factor exposures, and concentration risks. * Identify periodic rebalancing actions to maintain alignment with the Foundation's IPS targets for risk, return, and liquidity. * Conduct macro‑economic and micro‑economic analysis to inform asset allocation decisions, risk management, and tactical adjustments. * Assess market conditions, interest rate dynamics, equity valuations, and liquidity considerations relevant to the portfolio. Private Portfolio, Portfolio Analytics & Reporting (30%) While expected to focus more on the Public Portfolio, the candidate is also expected to support on underwriting and execution of private funds portfolio and reporting as well to be part of the investment team fully in achieving sound overall portfolio management and execution. Qualifications Basic Qualifications • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD • 8+ years' experience in financial services, payments, SaaS, technology, or client facing operational support. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with proven ability to navigate ambiguity and manage complex client situations independently. • Experience coordinating with Product, Technology, Risk, Legal, or equivalent cross functional partners. • Deep understanding of Visa systems (authorization, clearing, disputes, rules, platforms) or ability to quickly learn complex payment ecosystems. • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and lead cross functional efforts. • Experience designing or improving operational workflows and contributing to knowledge repositories (runbooks, SOPs, troubleshooting guides). • Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for executive level stakeholders. • Evidence of coaching, mentoring, or acting as a point of escalation for peers. • Track record of improving operational KPIs (NPS, duration, case quality, accuracy). • Ability to manage sensitive escalations with judgment and professionalism. • High learning agility: thrives in a build and transform environment. • Demonstrated ability to step in for the Team Lead, manage escalations, and represent the team in leadership or incident reviews. • Ability to identify patterns across clients and recommend structural improvement U.S. Applicants Only The estimated salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $ 160,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
