    Job Summary and Responsibilities Virginia Mason Franciscan Health’s Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine section is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon to join our team of two experienced Hand Surgeons, four exceptional Hand PAs, and two Certified Hand Therapists. This is a well-established practice that involves the care of hand and elbow conditions only - general orthopaedic coverage is not expected. As a tertiary referral center for the Pacific Northwest, one would be entering a high volume practice that includes a nice mix of bread-and- butter hand and elbow conditions as well as more complex cases. The practice location is shared between our downtown Seattle campus and one of our regional medical centers. There is access to an ASC as well as a procedure room for wide-awake surgeries. We have a strong reputation for excellent patient care and highly rated surgical outcomes. Our practice covers all adult conditions from the elbow to the hand. Compensation $410,931 - $503,652 /year DOE (initial salary range based on 25th-50th percentile for surgeon productivity), and additional consideration for years of experience, research, education, and administrative contributions , as well as internal equity. After the salary guarantee period, this position will be compensated based on work RVU productivity. #HEC Job Requirements BE/BC Orthopaedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon preferably with at least 3-5 years of experience, r ecent graduates will be considered Interest in the care of elbow conditions Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice Orthopaedic Team Details: Our Orthopaedic team includes more than 8 Orthopaedic Surgeons, 1 Plastic Surgeon, 3 non-operative Sports Physicians, and 14 experienced Physician Assistants. Other members include occupational therapy, certified hand therapy, podiatry, physical therapy, nursing and administrative support. The Center for Upper Extremity Surgery at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health offers centralized, comprehensive care by fellowship-trained specialists in the treatment of the hand, wrist, forearm and elbow, including fractures, tendon injuries, Dupuytren's, peripheral nerve compression, and arthritis.     Job Summary and Responsibilities Virginia Mason Francisan Health (VMFH) is fulfilling our vision of transforming healthcare by expanding our collaborative care team. We have an opportunity for a 1.0 FTE Ophthalmology - Glaucoma physician in desirable Seattle, Washington. Join the Virginia Mason Medical Center (VMMC) division of Ophthalmology with a regional and national reputation for excellence in patient care. The ophthalmology section currently has 8 ophthalmologists and 7 optometrists in our main Seattle clinic and at 4 regional medical center locations seeing approximately 51,000 patients per year. In addition to optometry and general ophthalmology, specialty services include surgeons who practice in a collegial environment and possess fellowship training in retina, cornea, uveitis, glaucoma, pediatric/strabismus, and oculoplastics. The Seattle clinic is a busy downtown practice with four full-time and two part-time ophthalmologists (cornea, glaucoma, retina, oculoplastics and pediatric specialists). We also employ three full-time optometrists. The surgeon position will partner with a well-respected glaucoma specialist who has been practicing for 19 years at Virginia Mason. The position requires a clinic one or two days per week at one of our regional medical centers, 2-3 clinic days per week in Seattle, and one or more OR days per week. A fellowship trained candidate is essential. The ideal candidate will be proficient in complex cataract and glaucoma surgery. We welcome applicants interested in clinical trials. Virginia Mason provides support via the Benaroya Research Institute. This is a unique opportunity to work in a busy, hospital-based practice alongside specialists with diverse and complex patient panels. The Seattle clinic is the hub of the ophthalmology service line and sets the tone for a large group practice. The surgeon hired for the glaucoma specialist position can expect approximately a 50/50 glaucoma and cataract surgery volume as they build their own unique practice. They will have the facilities to perform MIGS, filtering surgery, and glaucoma drainage device placement. Nighttime on-call duties rotate every eighth week.     Job Summary and Responsibilities Virginia Mason is seeking a BE/BC General Neurologist , applicants with subspeciality interest are welcome to apply The Outpatient Neurology Department at Virginia Mason consists of 11 Neurologists who care for patients that cover the spectrum of all neurologic diseases. As part of the Neurosciences Institute, we integrate care and are co-located with neurosurgery, neuropsychology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and the inpatient neuro-hospitalist service. We pride ourselves in creating a collegial and enjoyable work environment that includes bi-monthly journal club, neuro-radiology conference, neurovascular conference, neuro-oncology tumor board, and research with affiliation with the Benaroya Research Institute.
