Job Summary:Performs a variety of essential tasks across the window manufacturing process using hand tools, basic machinery, and software?guided equipment. Ensures units meet company quality and production standards. Maintains safe, efficient, and high?quality work practices.

Essential Functions ResponsibilitiesBalancer: Inserts and secures counterbalances into window units to ensure proper function and performance.
Corner Cleaner Operator: Operates automated equipment to clean, smooth, and finish welded corners on frames and sashes.
Glass Gasser 4th Corner Patch Manifest Scanning: Fills insulated glass units with gas, seals fill points, applies corner patches, and scans finished units for tracking.
Frame Catcher & Accessorizing: Receives finished frames, inspects for defects, and installs required accessories before staging.Performs additional duties as assigned.
EducationHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
ExperiencePrevious manufacturing experience preferred but not required. On?the?job training provided. Training includes equipment operation, work processes, quality standards, and safety procedures.
SkillsAbility to understand English and follow written and verbal instructions.Basic math, reading, and writing skills for measurements and documentation.Ability to identify correct materials, profiles, and components.Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate simple machinery and computer interfaces.Strong attention to detail and quality inspection ability.Ability to handle pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain accuracy.Ability to work cooperatively with others and follow direction from supervisors.Willingness to learn and operate multiple machines, trainable for various jobs throughout the plant.
Work Environment & PPEFast?paced production environment; some areas may involve heat or working with sharp materials.Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and handle large pieces of glass.Must be able to operate equipment such as saws, welders, drills, screw guns, punches, and end mills (training provided).Required PPE based on production line or task:Safety glassesHearing protectionCut?resistant gloves and sleevesPhysical Demands:Light to medium

Work Schedule1st shift MondayThursday: 5:00 AM3:30 PM (Some lines operate 6:00 AM4:30 PM.)
Fridays: Overtime scheduled as needed.
