    Village Caregiving - Lexington is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregivers in Winchester and Clay City Kentucky.

    We have flexible scheduling! WE HAVE WEEKEND SHIFTS ALSO!

    This individual will be responsible for providing direct care and support to clients in their homes. Ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

    Responsibilities:
    • Provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
    • Medications reminders
    • Plan and prepare meals and snacks
    • Assist with light housekeeping tasks and laundry as needed
    • Escort clients to appointments and activities, if needed
    • Engage in meaningful conversation and activities with clients to promote socialization and cognitive stimulation
    • Monitor and report changes in clients' physical and mental health
    • Communicate effectively with clients, their families
    • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

    Requirements:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Valid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
    • Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred but not required, we provide PAID training including CPR
    • Ability to work independently 
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor
    • Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening

    You will also be eligible for supplemental insurance. Vision, dental, accident, etc.

At Village Caregiving we take pride in knowing clients choose us through word-of-mouth recommendations and health care provider referrals.

    We are seeking a In-Home Caregiver MONDAY though FRIDAY 8am-4pm. 

    You will provide routine care assistance to clients in their home or in a care facility. We offer flexible schedules for all of our caregivers, part-time, full-time, days, nights or weekends.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)

    Assist clients with personal care and hygiene

    Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises

    Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed

    Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals

    Report information about conditions and treatment plans 

    Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members and directors

    Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

    REQUIREMENTS

    Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required

    Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards

    Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints

    Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner

    Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills

    Physical endurance to complete required tasks

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Reliable transportation and car insurance

    Pass drug screen and federal background check
