    Responsibilities :

    To aid in the manufacture and shipment of quality products by means of transferring, cleaning, painting (painting to include plant equipment, guard rails, floor lines, storage racks, conveyors, production offices, locker rooms, rest rooms, and related equipment within the production areas), removing, sweeping, shoveling, inside or outside, of our facilities as determined by Supervision. Aid and assist in all related activities, to relieve other employees for breaks, injuries, sickness, tardiness, absenteeism, or vacation/personal days.

    Operate, monitor and inspect assembly machines, tools, dip tanks, paint lines, impregnators, and other related equipment to produce a finished product, to assist or accomplish the set-up and material handling as necessary, to perform minor troubleshooting, to provide efficient productivity; to perform any related duties as determined by Supervision.

    To pack, inspect, prepare for shipment/transfer all products and/or material as necessary. Operate all necessary moving, hauling and storing equipment.

    To know and follow at all times proper safety procedures and to wear the prescribed safety equipment as they relate to the work being performed.

    To report neatly and accurately work performed, findings or results of inspections, and time and materials used in completion of assigned work.

    To maintain work area in neat and clean condition and assure that materials and tools are returned to proper storage and all waste and debris are removed upon completion of assigned work.

    To report immediately to his/her Supervisor any injury, unsafe act or condition, or any failure or impending failure of plant equipment.

    Perform duties in such a manner as to assure the uninterrupted operation of the facility and the continuation of Victaulic Company as a clean, safe place of employment.

    Actively participate in SRP, VPDS, and any other Company initiative designed to improve workplace efficiency, eliminate waste, and improve quality.

    Inspect castings visually and dimensionally (through the use of precision measuring instruments, gauges, and other equipment), perform necessary tests and random audits, calculate and record findings by manual and electronic means, to report findings to appropriate production personnel, to maintain proper certifications for contract work.

    Operating all associated grinding equipment, conveying equipment, cleaning, pressing, buffing, and associated machines and equipment. Operate qualifying equipment and inspect and sort castings. To perform any related duties as determined by Supervision.

    The noise level is such that earplugs must be worn at all times. Personal protective equipment must be worn at all times (ex. hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, and steel toe shoes). Safety equipment is provided by the Company with exception of steel toe shoes, which must be provided by employee upon the first day of employment.

    2nd Shift 3:00 pm - 11:05 pm

    3rd Shift 11:00 pm - 7:05 am

    * Shift times are subject to change. Employees must be willing to work in excess of 8 hours in one shift. Sometimes it is not possible to give employees involved much notice. Refusal to work as needed is considered a voluntary quit.

    Overtime: Employees must be willing and available to work weekends on an on-going basis if needed. It is mandatory for junior employees (if senior employees refuse) to work overtime. Refusal to work mandatory overtime is considered a voluntary quit. Overtime will paid for all hours worked in excess of forty hours in any one week.

    Build strong relationships by developing relationships and building trust with the mechanical contractors, engineers, and building/project owners in your territory. Maintain meaningful relationships requires spending time with your customers, and that's a big part of your job.

    Educate and influence by learning about your customers' needs and educating them about the overall value utilizing Victaulic can bring to their project. Our sales reps work hard to educate our customers.

    Qualities we seek in you as a territory manager include a bachelor's degree, previous sales experience selling value added products/services, demonstrated achievements in sales, a history of developing and nurturing long standing relationships, a competitive nature, flexibility, resiliency, self-motivation, confidence, strong problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, creative thinking, strong organization and time management skills, solid project management skills, and willingness to travel.

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician Supervisor to join our Quality Assurance team in Easton, PA. This full-time position reports to the Global Quality Assurance Manager. The Laboratory Technician Supervisor will provide leadership and operational oversight to the laboratory operations while managing critical quality processes. The successful candidate will oversee Product Evaluation Request (PER) logistics, analysis, and closeout procedures while leading a team of laboratory technicians to ensure the highest standards of product quality and compliance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide direct leadership and supervision for laboratory operations and technical staff focusing on performance management, workflow efficiency, and staff development
    Oversee daily lab operations, ensuring effective prioritization of work to meet business needs
    Manage comprehensive PER logistics from initiation through material handling, assignment, analysis, review, and final closeout
    Ensure timely and prioritized lab review of all PER according to established protocols and identify and remove process bottlenecks, standardize workflows, and implement process improvements
    Communicate critical findings and recommendations to Quality Assurance, Application Engineering, and Sales teams
    Develop, implement, and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for laboratory operations
    Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of laboratory activities and results
    Implement corrective action programs based on analysis of quality data and testing outcomes
    Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency and effectiveness
    Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies within the laboratory environment
    Serve as coach and mentor to laboratory and technical staff, fostering accountability, engagement and growth



    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related technical field
    Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in quality assurance, with demonstrated history managing laboratory operations or customer incident management systems.
    Proven ability to manage teams and operational processes in a structured environment.
    Experience driving process improvements, workflow optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.



    Technical Skills:

    Proficiency in data analysis software and statistical analysis tools
    Knowledge of quality management systems and testing equipment
    Understanding of corrective action programs and root cause analysis methodologies
    Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements



    Key Competencies:

    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
    Excellent leadership and team management skills; motivate and guide a diverse technical team
    Effective written and verbal communication skills
    Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    Experience mentoring and developing technical staff
    Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
    Strong organizational skills and ability to manage complex processes
    Ability to travel globally



    Preferred Qualifications:

    Previous experience managing laboratory personnel and technicians
    Background in mechanical systems, pipe joining, or related industrial applications
