    The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) plays a vital leadership role in supporting high-quality nursing care for residents while fostering dignity, compassion, and excellence in service. The ADON works closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure clinical standards, regulatory compliance, and resident-centered care are consistently achieved in alignment with the Vetter Senior Living Mission, Vision, and Values.

    Professional Qualifications

    The Assistant Director of Nursing must meet the following professional requirements:

    Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (R.N.) in the practicing state and current C.P.R. certificationStrong verbal communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, coworkers, physicians, and visitorsCommitment to ongoing professional growth through participation in educational sessions, in-service training, and demonstrations

Heritage Care Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated RN to serve as our Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), Staff Development Coordinator, and Infection Preventionist.

    In this role, you will inspire, educate, and support our team members while helping to uphold the highest standards of resident care, safety, and regulatory compliance.

    What You’ll DoProvide leadership and support to the nursing department as part of the administrative team.Coordinate staff development programs, orientation, and ongoing training for nursing team members.Mentor and coach staff to promote skill development, confidence, and teamwork.Oversee Infection Prevention & Control processes, ensuring regulatory compliance and best practices.Assist with quality improvement initiatives and overall clinical operations.Build strong relationships with residents, families, and team members.
