    POSITION SUMMARY: The Account Manager is responsible for proactively maintaining and retaining relationships with existing customers for permanent commercial and industrial waste services in an assigned territory. Additionally, the Account Manager is required to increase the level of penetration in his or her existing customer base by selling the full suite of Republic Services products.

    PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Effectively maintains and retains existing customers by building effective long-term relationships and customer loyalty.Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of the Company's available services, lines of business, pricing structures, and offers additional services as appropriate to assigned existing customers.Performs contractual re-signs on existing customers to extend customer relationship and increase customer profitability where appropriate.Responds to all cancellation requests in alignment with the established escalation policy.Proactively communicates with or responds to customers in support of company pricing initiatives.Utilizes Salesforce on a daily basis, schedules and documents all activities such as calls, meetings and proposals.Responsible for capturing customer emails, minimizing rate restrictions and customer credits.Increases customer penetration by selling full suite of Republic Services products.Regularly meets with Sales Manager to review weekly customer retention and relationship activities, progress versus goals and status of key customer relationships.Partners with the operations team, when needed, to address customer services issues.Builds relationships and increases Company visibility through participation in Company-sponsored activities, trade shows, chamber of commerce events and other similar activities.Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

    Salary & Benefits:

    Salary: The previously determined salary range for this position was $228,898 to $381,290.

    Final salary offered will be determined by a thorough assessment of available market data, internal salary equity, candidate experience and qualifications, and budget constraints. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the full range for a position.

    Employment Status: Full Time

    Jennifer Van Eyk, PhD, is an international leader in the area of clinical proteomics and her lab has focused on developing technical pipelines for de novo discovery and larger scale quantitative mass spectrometry methods. This includes multiple reaction monitoring (MRM, also known as SRM) and most recently data independent acquisition. Dr. Van Eyk's laboratory is well known for the extreme technical quality of the data generated, rigorous quality control with tight %CV while applying these to key clinical questions. The aim is to maximize throughput and reproducibility in order to move targeted and robust discovery methods into large population healthy continuous assessment and clinical grade assays focusing on brain and cardiovascular diseases.

    What will you be doing in this role?

    The Research Associate I will conduct routine experimental protocols and procedures to support the goals of one or more laboratory research projects in a specialized research area. Responsibilities include assisting with general laboratory tasks such as reagent upkeep and supply stocking. Filing and monitoring documents. Keeping accurate, detailed records of experiments and outcomes. The Research Associate I aids in operating specialized equipment and machinery, following safety protocols. The role requires performing routine cellular, micro-, and molecular biology techniques including Western and Northern blots, DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, protein extraction, cell culture, immunohistochemistry, and staining. There are no supervisory duties in this position. The associate also conducts routine molecular biology and biochemistry assays like immunohistochemistry, microscopy, western blots, ELISA, histology, and manages related data analysis. The individual will work efficiently alone and within a team of faculty, research scientists, and associates. Attendance at lab meetings, maintaining laboratory notebooks, performing calculations, tabulating data, and summarizing experimental methods and results are expected.     Within policy and law, and in collaboration with AFWERX, Office of Commercial and Economic Analysis (OCEA), and The Office of Special Investigations (OSI), establish a process to continually monitor previously assessed companies for new or developing foreign ownership, control, or influence (FOCI) concerns.
    Provide analytical support to agents, other analytical division, and OSI leadership in support of related investigative and national security efforts. Identify trends and actions of intellectual property theft and technology transfer investigated by OSI, and provide informational briefings outlining findings to facilitate the DAF efforts to prevent such theft/loss.
    Identify access and threat vectors commonly exploited by foreign intelligence, or other adversaries, to target DAF/DOD programs and associated supply chains and will subsequently provide informational briefings and other analytical products in support of the DAF's risk mitigation efforts, as needed.
    Produce and publish analytical products via portal, SharePoint, and other electronic methods for OSI leadership, OSI field offices, and SBA leadership/customers.
    Establish and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all counterintelligence assessments and associated documentation.
    Support ongoing research into small business and vendor efforts to develop published all-source analysis.
    Conduct counterintelligence assessments on potential SBIR/STTR vendors and proposals to identify potential foreign ownership, control, or influence, cybersecurity and regulatory risks.
    Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as program managers, analysts, and other relevant parties to ensure that counterintelligence assessments are conducted in a timely and effective manner.
    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to counterintelligence, FOCI, cybersecurity, and regulatory risk.
    Report recommendations and inputs to the OSI Technical Lead.
    As a member of the OSI SBIR/STTR Due Diligence Team responsible for developing and coordinating procedures for assessing AFWERX SBIR/STTR requests, prepare analytical reports, make assessments, and manage case closures.
    May be requested and required to participate in Proposal Support functions due to expertise
