    The Laser Print Operator will set up, adjust, operate, and troubleshoot digital laser printers.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include but may not be limited to the following:Minimizes waste or misuse of raw materials.Performs laser print functions by following daily job schedules.Completes different tasks on multiple printers within the assigned shift.Keeps the work order system up-to-date at all times.Ensures quality standards for laser print and finished labels are being met.Helps the other members of the team meet production deadlines.Places service calls with Xerox for the DP135 and 5252 printers.Keeps accurate records of jobs printed within the log book on the printer.Performs distribution functions when needed.Maintains the inventory levels of preprint items within the production area. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The job requires standing over 2/3 of the time on a daily basis.

    Requires daily lifting up to 50 lbs.

    Requires close vision (at 20 inches or less) and color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors) for quality control standards.

    Uses hands to finger, handle or feel over 2/3 of the time daily. Reaches with hands and arms.Qualifications

    2 years’ previous laser print experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; and at least 2 years’ previous laser print experience and/or training; or equivalent combination or education and experience.The ideal candidate will have previous experience with and certification for Xerox iGen digital printers and/or Xerox DP series printers, along with strong production machine set-up, operating, and troubleshooting experience.

    SUMMARYRepairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment within the facility by performing the following duties. Essential duties and responsibilities include but may not be limited to the following: • Repair production equipment, plant equipment and related facility equipment by diagnosing the source of the problem.• Use machine tools, meters, and machine manuals to diagnose equipment problems. • Build structures from wood, metal, and other materials using hand tools, power tools, welding and fabricating techniques.• Under direction of the maintenance manager or maintenance lead, move machines, install pipe, ductwork, fixtures or related equipment and provide support for plant improvement projects.• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems by using electrical schematics and VOM meters. • Get required tools or equipment, clean up areas, and store tools and equipment.• Other duties as required by management.• Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.• Compliance with applicable Company policies concerning maintaining a drug free workplace is required.• Compliance with all Company policies is required including all safety policies and procedures.Qualifications

    Education and or Experience• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.• Must be proficient in the repair and maintenance of at least four major machine types, flexo, air compressors, laminators, rewinders, electronic imaging equipment, power cutters and die - cutters. • At least 3-5 years previous experience performing maintenance in a manufacturing facility with knowledge of electrical schematics and ladder diagrams.  Strong mechanical or electrical background and knowledge preferred.  Work EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job in a manufacturing environment.The Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job in a manufacturing environment.•           Job requires standing over 75% of the time on a daily basis.•           Ability to lift 50 lbs with full range of motion.•           Ability to work from Standing, Kneeling and stooping positions. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.     Support all supervisors and operators with operational functions of quality control, label inspection and separation, store separation, packaging, special instructions and shipping in order to meet the delivery deadlines of each customer while maintaining all quality standards.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include but may not be limited to the following:Accurately inspects, separates and slots and packages all label/print products.Insures ALL quality control standards are being maintained.Uses ERP system (TCM) to log time and materials accurately and follows department guidelines for TCM activities.Ensures all shipments are completed and all packages are shipped to the correct person or place as directed by the daily job schedule or as instructed by their supervisor, job ticket or customer special instructions.Communicates any problems or quality issues, due to printing, laminating or  shipping errors to the appropriate individuals.Communicates with all courier companies and drivers about delays in shipping, special courier deliveries, and anything else that affects our customer deliveries.Follows any other instructions given by supervisors and/or management to complete other tasks or projects, ensuring the objectives are accomplished accurately and within the timeframe allotted.Maintains a clean, organized and safe work area, uses required PPE, and follows all safety rules and procedures.May be required to work overtime or on another shift as needed.Qualifications

    Performs the operational functions of data manipulation on various types of label equipment within the department to meet production quality standards and deadlines.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include but may not be limited to the following:Operates the label machines properly and efficiently in order to meet production deadlines according to the daily job schedule.Minimizes waste or misuse of raw materials.Communicates label production issues with the Production Supervisor or the Manager.Maintains a daily and weekly schedule of cleaning and maintenance for the machines within the department.Performs distribution functions as needed.Maintains inventory levels of raw materials within the production areas.Keeps an accurate log of raw materials used in the production of labels. Operators are responsible for operating a machines at budgeted waste and production numbers while ensuring that safety and quality policies and procedures are followed, as well as ensuring that production meets the targeted service goals and cost objectives.Strong candidates should have experience in variable data printing and/or mailing services. Must be detail-oriented, a self-starter and have the demonstrated ability to prioritize while maintaining high levels of organization, productivity and versatility.
