    POSITION SUMMARY

    Engage and participate in the business, management, and technical direction of the Service Center. Work as part of management structure, providing general supervision for Field Engineers and Technicians and schedule workflow. Serve as customer contact and liaison. Keep track of job progress and financial details.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Responsible for the sales, profit, and quality of the area operation. Review and sign contracts consistent with Limits of Authority. Work with the Region Director, Regional Sales Manager and Marketing Services to promote new business. Develop Area Profit Plan using local committee and periodically review plan to ensure that Service Center work is on track. Hold periodic regular management committee meetings to promote effective communication and review business progress. Work with staff to develop weekly invoicing and monthly Status Reports. Review and audit field jobs. Responsible for the general supervision, safety and technical training of Field Engineers and Technicians. Perform employee performance reviews and recommend appropriate salary changes. Coordinate technical training for field personnel and assist with career development. Review and recommend field technical procedures and procedure changes. Interview job applicants. Develop and review proposals, and review reports of field engineers.

    The New Product Development Engineer - Digital Services SME will lead the integration of digital diagnostics and predictive analytics into new Power and Thermal products. This role combines deep technical expertise in digital services with a focus on serviceability, safety, and business goals. The candidate will collaborate with R&D, product management, and global technical leads to ensure new products are digitally enabled, service-ready, and aligned with strategic initiatives. This position is remote, with occasional on-site travel and global team collaboration.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Serve as the subject matter expert for digital diagnostics and predictive analytics in Power and Thermal products. Interface with engineering, technical support, and field service teams to validate digital event data and ensure product accuracy. Lead the integration and refinement of Power and Thermal data models within Digital Services systems. Develop and refine technical documentation, maintenance procedures, and training materials focused on digital serviceability and new product launches. Represent Vertiv Services at design reviews, product reviews, and phase gate reviews, providing updates to management. Develop maintenance and troubleshooting procedures for new products, leveraging digital insights. Act as the Vertiv Services representative on the engineering change control board. Provide technical expertise in development of service plans for new products, including digital platforms. Lead development of service-related documentation and knowledge articles for Digital Services in relation to Power and Thermal products. Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending process and platform enhancements. Participate in customer engagements, on-site escalations, special projects, and strategic initiatives as assigned. Support logistics for parts research, spare kits, and parts sourcing for new products. Attend Beta startups and first article startups, providing feedback to engineering and product management. Train PTS and first classes of CEs on new products, including digital service features. Lead documentation and service platform development for new products.     QUALIFICATIONS

    We are seeking a High-Density Thermal Support Lead to manage and optimize our thermal management systems for high-density applications. This role will involve providing support across mechanical, electrical, quality, monitoring, controls, and troubleshooting for high-density and liquid cooling products. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in thermal dynamics, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Support of thermal management systems for high-density and liquid cooling applications. Mentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting technical growth within the team. Work closely with R&D and other departments to integrate new technologies and solutions into existing systems effectively. Maintain accurate documentation of system designs, performance data, and troubleshooting efforts, and prepare regular reports for stakeholders. Develop, refine, and leverage predictive analytics models, cloud based monitoring platforms, and data driven tools to support proactive service and maintenance strategies. Identify and troubleshoot thermal performance issues involving primary and secondary loops, manifolds, CDUs/XDUs, sensors, pumps, valves, and system integration points. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance thermal management processes and drive continuous improvement. Identify and resolve issues related to thermal performance, including diagnosing and addressing problems in high-density and liquid cooling systems. Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Root Cause Analysis team to drive root cause, recommended solutions, and lessons learned. Provide onsite support for escalated issues and customer meetings when required. Collaborate with Global Strategic Account (GSA) team present at customer meetings. Provide technical support across mechanical, electrical, quality, monitoring, and control systems to ensure seamless integration and performance of thermal solutions. Oversee the development and maintenance of technical documentation and support content for high-density products. Communicate effectively to understand customer needs, provide technical support, and resolve issues, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies in thermal management and cooling systems and provide recommendations for incorporating these advancements into current processes.
