What You’ll Do
As a Carpenter with Ideal Construction, you’ll bring plans to life and help create structures that stand the test of time. Your day might include:
Metal & wood stud framing (walls, ceilings, soffits, bulkheads)Framing door and window openingsInstalling wood/clad/vinyl windowsInstalling interior and exterior doors of all typesSiding, trim, and soffit removal/installationDeck layout and installationStair layout, fabrication, and installationAssessing and repairing damaged framingWood fencing installationReading and interpreting blueprintsOperating hand tools, power tools, lasers, levels, and moreWorking under deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanshipCommunicating clearly with your supervisor, project manager, customers, and teammatesRepresenting Ideal Construction in a professional, positive mannerMaintaining a clean, safe workspaceIf you love building, truly building, you’ll love this job.
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for motivated individuals who:
Have a valid driver’s licenseCan lift/move up to 100 lbs.Can climb ladders and work an 8-hour day / 40-hour week (sometimes more)Are reliable, punctual, and committed to qualityWork well with others (gossip-free zone!)Have strong attention to detailAre self-starters who take initiativeTake pride in cleanliness and jobsite organizationWant to grow with a company that’s growing, tooA 60-day probationary period allows us to evaluate work ethic, ability, attendance, and craftsmanship - and gives you a chance to show us what you can do.
