Ideal Construction is seeking a skilled, versatile Construction Service Technician to support our growing small-project and service work across multifamily, commercial, residential, and property-managed facilities.
This role is ideal for an experienced “jack-of-all-trades” professional who can assess repairs, perform quality work across multiple trades, and represent Ideal professionally on customer sites.
You’ll operate independently in a company-provided service vehicle, completing a variety of repair and improvement tasks that help us serve clients quickly and reliably.
What You’ll Do

Location: Fremont, NE
The Installation Manager at Surfaces by GMI is responsible for overseeing and executing the professional installation of countertops, backsplashes, and sinks at residential and commercial job sites. This role combines hands-on installation with field leadership, ensuring projects are completed with precision, clean finishes, and a seamless client experience.
The Installation Manager works closely with Project Managers, Design Consultants, and Shop Leads to ensure each project is installed accurately, efficiently, and to Surfaces by GMI’s quality standards. This is a detail-driven role where craftsmanship, leadership, and client experience matter.
The Installation Manager is the final and most critical touchpoint in the Surfaces by GMI client experience. This role not only ensures quality installations but also sets the tone for the team on-site. Their leadership, precision, and care directly impact client satisfaction, referrals, and repeat business. Consistency in this role ensures every project reflects the craftsmanship and service Surfaces by GMI is known for.
