Job DescriptionThe Senior Cloud Engineer is a hands-on technical role responsible for designing, building, automating, and operating VERSANT’s cloud infrastructure and platforms. This engineer will work closely with application teams, platform engineers, and security teams to build scalable, secure, and highly automated cloud environments that support a wide range of media workloads.
The role focuses primarily on AWS at enterprise scale, including multi-account environments, AWS Organizations, Control Tower, Identity Center, networking, and shared cloud services. The engineer will help implement cloud standards, automate infrastructure using infrastructure as code, and enable application teams through CI/CD pipelines and reusable cloud infrastructure patterns.
VERSANT operates a mix of legacy applications and modern cloud-native workloads, and this role will help migrate, modernize, and support these systems while ensuring consistent architecture and operational practices across environments.
This role also requires strong knowledge of hybrid connectivity between on-premises (internal data centers and third parties), and cloud environments, as well as cross-account resource sharing and networking.
