    Summary of Position Functions

    The Project Manager II - Enterprise will oversee and support energy performance and design-build construction projects. The Project Manager will be required to manage multiple subcontracting disciplines on any given project. This role is responsible for managing project execution, maintaining schedule, cost control, and supporting project development activities by obtaining pricing and scopes from trade partners ensuring high-quality communication among customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

    Essential Position Functions

    Manages all phases of energy performance and design-build construction projects from award through closeout with emphasis on subcontracted work scope and performance.Assists the Business Development and Engineering teams during project development by soliciting, reviewing, and leveling subcontractor pricing and proposals.Prepares, maintains, and updates detailed project schedules, 3- to 6-week look-forwards, and resource plans.Conducts recurring project meetings with subcontractors and customers, ensuring action items and deliverables are tracked and completed.Reviews subcontractor submittals, RFIs, change order requests, and invoices for accuracy and compliance with scope and schedule.Prepares and presents monthly project status reports to company management, including progress updates, budget and cost tracking, and variance analysis.Maintains timely and accurate revenue and cash flow forecasts in coordination with finance and operations teams.Coordinates site logistics, safety, and quality plans through subcontractor management and field visits. Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers, subcontractors, and design partners to ensure project goals are met. Ensures compliance with company policies, contract requirements, and applicable safety and environmental regulations.

    Education and Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent education, or related field; or ten plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Commercial construction experience required.5-8 years of project management experience in energy, mechanical/electrical, or design-build construction required.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    Knowledge of Veregy’s services and processes is required which can be obtained through intellect, technical inclination, and dedication to gain such knowledge.Knowledge of MS Project (or equivalent schedule management software), Excel, and standard construction management tools (e.g., Procore, Monday.com, or similar).Knowledge of ESCO project delivery methods, energy conservation measures, and performance contracting principles preferred.Ability to manage subcontracted scopes and maintain organized project documentation.Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time / workload.Ability to communicate and build customer relationships, with experience leading recurring meetings and presentations.Ability to forecast project costs and revenues accurately and track key financial performance metrics.Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Ability to effectively respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and staff.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed.

    Summary of Position Functions

    The Senior Project Manager plays a pivotal role in the successful execution of projects, from the RFP/RFQ process through to completion. This role will collaborate with a diverse team of Site Superintendents, Architects, Engineers, Owners, and Subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards. This role involves overseeing daily onsite operations, managing project budgets, and providing regular progress reports to the Regional Operations Manager ROM). Additionally, the Senior PM ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with company standards, while also mentoring project managers and supporting company growth.

    Essential Position Functions

    Lead the planning and execution of multiple HVAC construction projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery from preconstruction through closeout.Oversee project teams including Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and field staff while aligning estimating, operations, and field execution.Manage a portfolio of projects representing approximately $10M–$25M+ in annual revenue with full responsibility for profitability, forecasting, and cost control.Review and approve project financials including budgets, billing, job cost reports, forecasts, change orders, and risk exposure.Serve as the primary company representative with general contractors, managing subcontract agreements, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and coordination with other trades.Lead direct-to-owner projects by coordinating with architects, engineers, and facility representatives while providing scheduling, planning, and communication typically handled by a general contractor.Manage projects in occupied K-12 school environments, coordinating work around school calendars, phased construction schedules, and summer shutdowns while maintaining safety and minimal disruption.Develop project schedules, oversee procurement of major equipment and materials, and lead coordination meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders.Identify scope changes early and manage pricing, negotiation, and approval of change orders while ensuring contract compliance and protecting company interests.Build strong client relationships and mentor Project Managers and Project Engineers while ensuring successful commissioning, punch list completion, documentation, and warranty turnover.

This role will oversee all technical aspects of projects including individual commissioning tasks, scheduling and coordination with supporting commissioning engineers, budget and task management, client relationship management, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring the progress of each task, and preparing internal and external reports for management regarding project status. Along with the project manager, acts as the client's main point-of-contact through every step of the process, from initial contact and project kickoff, through design, construction, acceptance, and project closeout.     The Senior Project Manager plays a pivotal role in the successful execution of projects, from the RFP/RFQ process through to completion.
