Position Summary:
Operate filling and packaging equipment in an efficient and accurate manner. Ensure that all products and packaging produced comply with all quality guidelines. Accomplish this by using the daily production schedule to determine the products to be processed and know the specific requirements for each product ran. These include, but are not limited to, processing parameters, ingredients, coding, rework, labeling, packaging, machinery set up and operations, including palletizing configurations in order to process food grade oils.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Start up and check equipment for preventative maintenance issues, proper set up, and operation. Perform minor maintenance and adjustments as needed. Perform pre-shift preparation, ensure all surfaces that contact product, i.e., piping, utensils, and vessels are sanitized and ready for operationMaintains operation of crystallizing and/or filling and packaging machinery to produce a quality product within customer's requirements and specificationsRead daily production schedule to determine products to be processed and know their specific requirements as well as process in the established sequence for crystallizingComply with all Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), safety procedures, company policies, quality policies and procedures, and Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points as they apply to this positionPerforms quality checks on proper placement of lids, packaging, weights, codes, and case inspections to ensure that all quality and customer specifications are met. Crystallization will require operator to perform some analytical testingCommunicates any problems or issues with appropriate personnel, including at shift change and with incoming machine operator. Coordinate status with relief personnelMaintains SIS scheduling goals, maintains documentation on production output and completes all other required paperwork, timely and accuratelyMaintains daily operational sanitation dutiesResponsible for following all food safety policies, procedures and regulatory criteria including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated preventive controlsOther duties as assignedEducation and Experience:

Position Summary:
The production supervisor's responsibility is to oversee the workflow at our facilities. Supervisors should have a focus on meeting production goals, quality, safety, people leadership, engagement, and cost objectives. The role is a complex one, He/She will not just be someone who only supervises the work of others. A supervisor is also responsible for the coaching and development of employees, resolving issues and escalating as needed, and guiding our team to be successful every shift. Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for performance management of direct reports including - direction setting, accountability, coaching, feedback, performance reviews, development, training, etc. Responsible for monitoring the production process utilizing RedZone and by being on the floor engaging with the area team. Escalating any production issues per the escalation criteria and communicating within a timely manner.Plan, organize, and delegate work assignments to accommodate departmental schedules and to best utilize manpower and equipment and thereby meeting OEE efficiencies and striving for continual improvement within department.Ensures administrative tasks are completed including interviewing new potential team members, planning & scheduling, safety reporting, kronos, and other system entries.Ensure product specifications are met and alerting production manager and quality assurance if product quality is in question immediately. Resolve quality issues through training of personnel and enforcement of standards.Leading & Participation in continuous improvement projects within supervised area. Attending specified meetings and providing detailed shift handover information.Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.A minimum of 3-5 years as front line supervisor in a manufacturing environment is preferred.Experience in food manufacturing facilities and knowledge of GMP's, HACCP, and sanitation practices is helpful.Knowledge and Skills:
