Responsibilities / Job Duties
Velocity Rail Solutions drivers are responsible for loading, transporting, and transferring red-dyed diesel into trains and/or storage tanks on an 'on-call' basis for the Railroad. On-the-job training will be provided for qualified individuals. The Railroad maintains dedicated trucks and drivers on duty 24/7/365, including nights, weekends, and holidays, ensuring consistent paychecks. You will be paid for a full 12 hours each shift, including breaks, lunches, and any wait time for dispatches. You will be paid for all 'on-duty' hours, regardless of the specific task you are dispatched for.

Requirements/Qualifications
Must have a Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and TWIC card. No Automatic restriction on CDL. 1 year of commercial driving experience in a manual transmission vehicle. Must be able to clear all background checks required by the company, customer, and government. Responsible for maintaining all required licenses and certifications. Must be able to read, write, and understand English. Must be reliable and dependable. Must know when to ask for help. Moderate computer skills required. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Willing to work various shifts, including overnights, weekends, and holidays (shifts may rotate).
Physical Requirements
Able to consistently bend, stoop, kneel, and climb on and off elevated surfaces. May have to walk long distances on paved, unmaintained, or uneven surfaces. Able to climb in and out of a truck cab multiple times per shift and climb a ladder or steps 10 or more times per day. Able to drive and work outside in adverse weather conditions. Willing to work with liquid non-hazardous and dry bulk materials. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently.
