Duties
Assist in creating detailed design concepts using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Support the development of floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D renderings for residential or commercial projects.
Participate in site visits to gather measurements, observe existing conditions, and document renovation or remodeling needs.
Contribute to material selection processes including color schemes, lighting fixtures, furnishings, and finishes based on color theory principles.
Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, scheduling, and contract documentation to ensure seamless project flow.
Help prepare presentation boards and client proposals that effectively communicate design ideas.
Gain exposure to lighting sales strategies, construction coordination, and renovation workflows to understand comprehensive project lifecycle management.
Skills
Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite for drafting and visualization purposes.
Strong understanding of drafting standards, CAD techniques, and interior design principles.
Knowledge of lighting design concepts and lighting sales fundamentals.
Ability to interpret construction documents including contracts and remodeling plans.
Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail in budgeting and project management tasks.
Familiarity with color theory to create harmonious interior environments.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and presenting ideas clearly.
