    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled and dependable Rough Carpenter to join our construction team. You will be responsible for building the essential skeleton of various structures, including walls, roofs, and flooring systems, ensuring every component is level, plumb, and built to exact specifications.

    Key Responsibilities

    Structural Framing: Erect the skeleton of residential or commercial buildings, including studs, floor joists, ceiling joists, and roof trusses.Blueprint Interpretation: Read and analyze architectural blueprints and CAD drawings to determine precise dimensions and material requirements.Formwork & Foundations: Construct wooden or metal forms (molds) for pouring concrete foundations, footings, and retaining walls.Material Preparation: Measure, mark, and cut lumber, plywood, and other materials with high precision using power and hand saws.Installation: Set up rough window and door frames, subflooring, and sheathing before the arrival of finish trades.Support Structures: Build and install temporary supports, including scaffolding, ramps, and platforms to ensure on-site safety and accessibility.Quality Inspection: Regularly examine existing framework for defects, rot, or decay and perform necessary structural repairs.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    Experience: Proven experience in rough carpentry or framing; completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training is highly preferred.Tool Proficiency: Expertise in using power tools (circular saws, nail guns, drills) and hand tools (levels, plumb bobs, squares).Mathematics: Strong ability to perform geometric and algebraic calculations for angles, measurements, and material quantities.Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, work at heights on scaffolding, and standing/bending for long periods in varying weather conditions.Safety Conscious: Thorough understanding of OSHA safety standards and local building codes.Basic Skills: High School Diploma/GED, reliability, teamwork, and attention to safety.Experience: Warehouse, construction, or related industry experience is a plus.     Work Environment

    Job Description

    Measures, marks, and arranges materials to established layout based on blueprints or instructions from supervisors. Cuts and shapes structures, forms, or other fixtures from wood, plastic, fiberglass, or Drywall. Cut, fit, and then install baseboard, door & window casing and crown molding, according to specific measurements Uses various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects. Joins materials with the most appropriate nail, screw, staple, or adhesive. Ensures the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels, surveying equipment, or framing squares; corrects problems as needed. Creates wooden forms for pouring concrete or for tunnels, bridges, or sewer construction projects. Erects and dismantles scaffolding. Installs windows, cabinets and doors with the utmost precision. Adheres to local building and safety codes and guidelines. Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Ability to understand directions and read blueprints. Ability to solve mathematical problems quickly and accurately. Ability to properly care for and use tools of the trade. Thorough understanding of carpentry principles and methods. Works well as part of a team.

    Additional Information

    Job Summary

    The Logistics & Traffic Specialist is responsible for coordinating domestic and international freight activity supporting VBC manufacturing operations. This role manages inbound shipment visibility, transportation coordination, delivery scheduling, and logistics communication to support production continuity and material flow.

    Key Responsibilities

    Coordinate inbound and outbound domestic and international shipments.Manage communication with suppliers, carriers, freight brokers, and freight forwarders.Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate delays and transportation risks.Coordinate deliveries to support production schedules and warehouse capacity.Support import logistics activities including customs coordination and shipment documentation.Maintain shipment tracking, freight visibility, and logistics records within SAP and related tools.Support freight cost management and expedited shipment reduction efforts.Coordinate logistics support for project-specific and long-lead materials.Assist in standardizing logistics processes across VBC facilities.Support KPI reporting related to freight performance and delivery reliability.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    3–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight coordination, or supply chain operations.Manufacturing or construction-related experience preferred.International import logistics experience strongly preferred.ERP experience required; SAP experience strongly preferred.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and shipment tracking tools.

    Work Environment

    Summary

    VBC is seeking an experienced, enterprise‑level EHS Senior Manager to provide strategic leadership, governance, and oversight for Environmental, Health & Safety across all U.S. operations, including Pennsylvania and California manufacturing facilities, the Pennsylvania corporate office, and the Massachusetts design office.

    This role has direct supervisory responsibility for the Pennsylvania EHS Manager and the California EHS Lead and serves as the senior EHS authority across field and office environments. The EHS Senior Manager establishes strategy, enterprise standards, and operating discipline while ensuring consistent execution through site EHS leaders. The ideal candidate is a confident, systems‑oriented safety leader with strong people‑leadership capability, multi‑site experience, and the ability to influence executives and plant leadership alike.

    Key Responsibilities

    Enterprise EHS Leadership & People ManagementProvide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management for:EHS Manager – Pennsylvania ManufacturingEHS Lead – California ManufacturingSet enterprise‑level EHS expectations for execution, reporting, regulatory readiness, and escalation.Develop EHS leadership capability and succession depth across sites.Serve as the primary escalation point for high‑risk, cross‑site, or unresolved safety issues.

    Serve as the senior company representative for significant regulatory inspections, enforcement actions, and agency interactions.Ensure audit readiness and coordinated responses across all sites.Oversee permitting, reporting, and regulatory correspondence as appropriate for the enterprise.

    Operational & Executive Partnership

    Partner with executive leadership, Operations, Engineering, HR, and Facilities to embed safety into strategic and operational decisions.Influence plant leadership and functional leaders to model visible safety ownership.Integrate EHS considerations into new processes, capital projects, design decisions, and organizational change.

    Training, Culture & Accountability

    Set expectations for role‑based EHS training across manufacturing, corporate, and design teams.Reinforce a culture where stop‑work authority, escalation, and accountability are expected leadership behaviors.Ensure EHS expectations are embedded into leader performance and decision‑making.

    Reporting & Executive Communication

    Own enterprise EHS performance reporting, dashboards, and executive briefings.Provide concise, risk‑focused updates to senior leadership and HR.Escalate systemic or enterprise‑level risks requiring executive action.

    Authority & Accountability

    Holds full stop‑work authority across all facilities and office environments.Authorized to direct corrective actions and suspend operations where unacceptable risk exists.Expected to escalate unresolved safety issues without fear of retaliation.

    Qualifications

    Required

    Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).7+ years of progressive EHS experience, including multi‑site or enterprise responsibility.Proven experience leading and developing EHS leaders.Strong working knowledge of OSHA General Industry, state plans (including CA/PA considerations), and office‑based risk environments.Demonstrated experience with regulatory engagement, audits, serious incident oversight, and executive communication.Ability to influence senior leaders and drive accountability across functions.

    Preferred

    Professional certification (CSP, ASP, CIH).Experience supporting both manufacturing and professional/office environments.Experience partnering closely with HR, Facilities, Engineering, and Executive Leadership.

    Physical & Work Environment Requirements

    Regular presence in manufacturing facilities and offices.Ability to travel between PA, CA, and MA as business needs require.Ability to walk production floors and office spaces and wear required PPE.

    Additional Information

    The Salary Range for this position is $105,000 - $130,000 annual base salary + annual performance bonus. We also off the following benefits:

    Job summary:

    As part of the Quality team, you will be responsible for inspecting modular building structures from framing to finish, in a manufacturing setting, before the modules are shipped to the customer.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Being organized and punctual every day.Coordinating all inspection of Modular buildings, in various stages of construction, with your assigned area Supervisor.Ensuring that manufacturing teams construct quality products consistently using approved documents and specifications. Consistently Measure VBC products accurately using tape measures, calipers, levels, carpenter square and electrical inspection tools such as ohm meters, multi meters and continuity testers.Compiling information for QA members when needed for data analysis.Logging time and posting reports inside the Procore Platform, as well as using our SAP Platform for processing completed inspections through MES software. Assist QA&CI with developing Control Plans, Inspection Plans and measuring techniques.   Support Third Party Auditors (customers and regulatory agencies) as needed. Assist QA&CI by obtaining and/or maintaining required Quality Certifications  Participate in Daily Production MeetingsWalking your area and being involved with manufacturing activities(be the first to know). Assist QA with SOP review for various manufacturing and quality requirements.  Assist QA with Quality Improvement suggestions and develop implementation plans. 

    Skills and Qualifications:

    3-5 years’ experience working within a Quality organization preferred. Home Inspection experience would be a big plus! Experience with Construction: familiarity with building materials, wood construction practices and quality finished building productsKnow how to use computer software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint to make reports.Knowledge of adding/subtracting/multiplying fractions, decimals and how to convert from standard to metric using a calculator. Demonstrated knowledge of how to use a standard tape measure and metric tape measure is important.Correctly read and interpret VBC approved blueprints / shop drawing(GD&T experience a plus).Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present to management. Problem Solving Experience preferred.Demonstrate effective time management skills.Self-motivated, able to multitask, proven success in fast-paced environments. Team player, able to build positive working relationships with people across different functions, locations, and levels of management. Experience with the construction industry is a plus.

    Summary

    VBC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Executive for Strategic Project Delivery that will serve as a senior advisor and strategic leader within VBC's U.S. business. This role will partner with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams to develop project strategies, optimize delivery models, and ensure alignment between project outcomes and VBC's enterprise objectives.

    The Project Executive will act as a trusted consultant to clients and internal leaders, providing thought leadership across feasibility, planning, operational execution, financial analysis, and performance management. This role is ideal for an experienced professional from the consulting, AEC, or manufacturing sectors who excels at problem-solving, stakeholder alignment, and guiding complex, multidisciplinary initiatives. In this capacity, the Project Executive will be responsible for representing VBC, both internally and externally, in a manner that aligns with our brand and core values.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic Advisory & Planning

    Lead strategic project assessments, including feasibility studies, site analysis, and early-stage concept development.Translate client objectives into actionable strategies aligned with VBC’s business goals.Advise executive teams on project planning, risk mitigation, delivery models, and change management.Develop integrated plans covering scope, timeline, financials, resource allocation, and operational requirements.

    Client Advisory, Relationship Management & Influence

    Required Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or related field AND at least 7 years of work experience managing projects in the manufacturing or AEC industries OR high school diploma and at least 10 years of work experience managing large-scale, multidisciplinary projects in AEC industry.Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams including internal and external design teams, to deliver complex projects (ideally, from design through manufacturing and delivery).Experience generating, managing, and reporting project schedules and budgets.Experience reviewing and managing complex client and subconsultant contracts.Experience in identifying project risks including design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project-specific issues.Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and commenting on project documentation (large multidisciplinary architectural and engineering drawing sets), procedure manuals, schedules, RFIs, etc.Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.Experience with industry specific software and technology (e.g., SAP, BIM360, Smartsheet).Ability to work independently and make significant project decisions.

    Preferred Qualifications
