    Job Description:

    Job Summary
    This position manages the inventory of the airframe or engine platform as assigned. This includes pricing and tiering of all assigned
    inventory. This position is responsible for aircraft teardowns and sales forecasts.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    1. Inventory and Technical Oversight: 40%
    • Oversees daily inbound process for the assigned platform
    • Analyze stock levels, review material shelf life and obsolete products.
    • Monitor and maintain accuracy data in ERP system. (Alternates, pricing, tiering, etc.)
    • Coordinate and facilitate proper asset/ component reconciliation.
    • Evaluates available inventory through technical research to maximize marketability
    • Conducts scrap reviews to ensure program targets are met
    • Exercises limited authority for inventory acquisition

    2. Sales Strategy Coordination: 25%
    • Develops strategic plans for present and future sales and inventory management with the HO Commercial and Material
    Management
    • Sets and manages pricing strategies
    • Coordinates and supports the sales team with sourcing of components and review of technical documentation to fulfill
    customer requirements.
    • Coordinate with support function to optimize cost (Repairs, transportation) to maximize financial targets.
    • Interfaces with all sales personnel and offices to coordinate sales campaigns
    • Exercises limited authority for sales decisions

    3. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Other Duties: 30%
    • Interacts with the repair department to monitor speculative repairs
    • Completes sales support reporting
    • Performs data management tasks.
    • Conducts compliance and documentation review

    Additional Responsibilities: 5%
    • Performs all other duties as assigned

    Qualified Experience and Training:
    Education:
    Required
    • 4 year bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

    Experience:
    Required
    • 5-7 years experience in related field

    Travel Required:
    • 5% Domestic and International

    Citizenship:
    • Authorized to work in the US, Able to work in US without current or future need for visa sponsorship

    Qualified Skills: Able to read and understand IPC S and CMM S
    Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:

    • Ability to communicate effectively with all people
    • Ability to handle various types of projects
    • Proficient in the utilization of the Inventory Locator System
    • Thorough knowledge of the Illustrated Parts Catalog
    • Thorough knowledge of the industry requirements

    Technical Systems Proficiency:

    Job Description:

    VAS Aero Services is looking for a HR Assistant (Contract) to join our HR & Security team in Seattle, Washington.

    This position performs a variety of human resources administrative duties to assist in the efficient department operation. Primary responsibility is in supporting recruiting, training, security and employee communication.

    This position is a temporary (contract) position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed. Contractors are employed by a 3rd party vendor and placed on assignment to Airbus/VAS in America.

    Primary Responsibilities

    HR Support
    Serve as a point of contact for employee and manager questions related to policies, benefits, and system navigation.
    Partner with leadership on talent assessments, succession planning, and key talent moves.
    Support creation, review, and updates of position descriptions for new roles, reclassifications, and backfills.
    Acts as a liaison and clearing house for data and information between HRBPs, HRIS, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits and expatriation activities.
    Maintain awareness of employment laws and HR best practices to support compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
    Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational data
    Provide communication and response to employee HR related questions, re-direct and escalate as applicable.
    Provides administrative support to the Director of Human Resources
    Initiates background screening and drug testing
    Plans and executes employee engagement activities
    Drafts internal communication for review and disbursement by the Director of HR
    Other duties as assigned


    Reception :
    Answers phones and directs phone calls to appropriate staff members
    Greets visitors and directs them to the proper location
    Maintains security in front lobby by screening all visitors
    Maintains visitor log
    Issues and collects identification badges
    Maintains lobby area
    Assists various departments with administrative projects
    Other duties as assigned


    Security:
    Maintain Lost & Found property
    Conducts other assignments in accordance w/ Airbus Security SOP
    Badge Creation and assignment
    Administrative tasks on demand for access control including, but not limited to: Adding / Removing Access per request & approval, Temporary Access for Visitors
    Support security by noting and address any unusual activities identified on CCTV
    Conduct & investigate recorded events at request of Airbus Security


    Qualified Experience and Training:

    Associate s degree in Human Resources or related discipline or equivalent experience
    3+ Years Experience in HR related field
    Strong computer skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
